It works! thank you so much! Now, can you explain in better detail how I use godmode to make the wormholes all rare? I'm a beginner when it comes to godmode. A detailed tutorial for the cro hack would be greatly appreciated. it worked for v1.2 right? or does that also need updating? Anyway I am very happy to be a member to this community.

my FC and IGN: Ally - 0533-9806-7255 if anyone wants to add me let me know. I hex Pokemon/create them and I love helping the Pokemon community.

THANK YOU FOR THE PATCH FIXES, you're amazing. but now I really want to do the cro for rare wormholes i just need it explained belter. Can you send me a private mail or message to me about this? I want to learn and help out.
follow the tutorial, but offset may vary if the cro got update again in 1.2.

Could I possibly get some patches that don't include the no QR cool down I think that may be screwing up RNG abuse stuff.

The problem is it's an unaltered patch from 1.1 comparing them side by side in a hex editor shows no differences
have you tried it before prior updating to 1.2V?

You can edit at least one byte where it affects shiny lock differently if you see 01 hex byte, change it to 09 where it's basically same in all previous games.

Also comparing 1.0 to 1.1 the patch was updated so I expect it would of worked also the bytes that are changed between versions are 06 and 07

Uuuugh!

Apparently Always shiny and Shiny rate modifier behaved very differently when it comes to different hex bytes for shiny lock,
Turns out that 09 is exactly the same modified hex byte as SM version that's not shiny locked can be encountered as shinies normally with both normal and modified shiny rate works but doesn't work with always shiny patch.

While 01 is shiny-locked you can't get them in normal ways even with normal/modified shiny rate, but will be unlocked when applying with Always shiny patch, I believe that's how Ash-Greninja is considered not shiny-locked but still shiny-locked regardless, that's quite strange.

02 and 03 are permanent shinies for ordinary pokemon that appears in the ultra wormhole, or Event pokemon even if it's random they retain their shininess after resetting the game, yet that still affects shiny-locked mascot legendaries, tapus and gift totems.

18 is well the original hex byte as always which is shiny-locked normally, duh.

anyways, gotta bang my head on the desk.

If you guys have godmode9 I advise you to edit the code.ips in Luma/titles/[titleID] in Hex editor, look for ''00 01 01 45 4F 46'' which is Shiny removal patch if merged with other ips patches, edit the third hex byte whatever you want to change, I'm not going to bother to fix that again, I'll leave that be that way. ^^;

It only works for Zygarde and Necrozma while rnging while it doesn't work for Solgaleo/lunaala since it's too difficult to rng, the last time I tested that patch.

That's because the patch fucks with the delay Solgaleo is static the delay is always the same it's never random.
