Homebrew Star Fox 2 - Inject into 3ds

I've got my own rom for star fox but can't find a snes injector app that works.
Has any one had success with this?

The error is something along the lines of this rom has a special chip not supported.

The VC app doesn't support the chip the game uses.
You'll have to play it on Snes9x.

Star Fox 1 & 2 run best with the Snes Emulator Snes9x for 3DS.

On a n3ds, star Fox 2 has given decent results on snes9x for 3ds, well above playable. Can't say the same for o3ds.

I'm not referring to the retroarch snes9x core. I'm talking about the standalone snes9x emulator optimized for 3ds.
