if possible could someone please give a estimated/real release date for cfw for dsi pls. =3
It'll be released whenever someone releases a stable whitelist patcher.
But... If i do not have the flipnote app installed on my DSI, and the shop is closed now... Same with the cfw release by apachethunder, i Will not be able to downgrade my firmware and its an absolute no go for my DSi?

If you open the DSi shop now (even if it's closed) you should get the data management option.

if you don't have the flipnote app, you can still try a hardmod, but I don't think there's another way.
Like @ThisIsDaAccount said your only way to get HiyaCFW and RocketLauncher is to use a hardmod, you will also need a raspberry pi model 1 to receive your consoleID and you should be able to bruteforce your CID.
You have that the other way around. You can get the CID with the RaspberryPi and bruteforce ConsoleID.
If i got a DSi running on 1.3 firmware, there's any possible way to upgrade it to 1.4 avoiding to go straight to 1.4.5?
Sorry, recently i've been a bit more involved with the 3DS scene than the DSi one.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
