Hello folks!
I'm a guy with a very, very strange problem. Everything was working perfectly until I shut down my Old 3DS and went away.
Few hours later, I powered on 3DS and noticed that no icon but two-three was shown.
I tried running these two icons (utility cias) and the 3DS froze; then I tried rebooting and some games (cias) appeared, and nothing, always freezing;
even with no SD card inside and legit flashcart it always freezes!

I even tried restoring my NAND backup from GodMode9, but nothing, the problem it's still here

Can someone please gave me an hand? It's very strange as error :(

Thank you in advance!

Nothing, startup with no SD and no flashcart and it's always freeze on clicking anything (but, if it can matter, I can scroll home and open/close folders)

UPDATE: Now is freezing by itself... I dunno :(
Probably not but worth a try before resorting to CTR transfer
What you were saying about CTR transfer? I can follow the 3ds.guide part?

EDIT: I followed the CTR transfer guide and everything went right, apps worked again and there was no freeze. Then I rebooted the console and... same problem again! I don't know, how can it's possible to be "broken" by software?

that would be because gm9 has checks for equivalent titles to solve that use d9 to perform the ctr transfer (d9 will overwrite titles even if the system shows them as valid) but before you do so run H2testw (Windows) on your sd card

Nothing, always same problem...

This behavior can be explained by corrupted nand sectors. Nothing you can do about it as user (because it is a hardware failure) but you can try setting up emunand. Use emunand9 to create a emunand partition on sd card (copy over your files to pc first and restore them after emunand is installed!) and boot it with luma3ds. Emunand is a copy of your sysnand but it runs from sd card rather from (eventually your corrupted) nand.

Please try this and report if it works.

why do people come here asking for help, ohhh shit ive not touched my 3ds, went away and came back, turned it on and nothing.

then go doing random things to it.

you do know your console is not working from the get go and your asking for help.

going doing other things without knowing the problem could cause more problems.

your initial problem could have been a poor downgrade if that is what you did, or could be that you lied, your console has been used and updated.

so its pretty much hard to even start saying what your problem could be because we now need to count factors such as was your backup nand corrupted, was it even your nand, was your method of restoring nand the correct method.

the thing you should have been told (ALL USERS ABOVE) before doing anything is if your console can boot with nothing inserted..... CHECK YOUR CONSOLE FIRMWARE.

chances are if you click something and you just get a black screen that is a known fact for users who have upgraded, gateway or other flashcards, cia roms and other homebrew apps tend to boot you to a black screen and nothing happens.

first rule of action, find the fault before ever suggesting a solution.

this is the internet and n00bz will read what they want to read.

if one user mentioned is your flashcard inserted and have you tried restoring nAND...... guess what they will read.

AHH!, yes lets try restore my nand, oooh crap i dont have a nand, ill download one.... a fuckery duckery.

first off we need to know, if the op is getting a black screen when trying to boot things, console firmware, the first thing anyone should ask because if its been updated then thats the answer.

then we look at options to resolve problem.

i mean your not going to think AAAAHH SHIT I HAVE A WINDOWS FAULT..... I KNOW REINSTALL WINDOWS!

Like wormdood said, chill out.
First, I'm not a noob cause I have a new gbatemp account, I follow the 3ds hacking scene since Gateway and MSET so I'm not the newcomer
Second, I resolved the problem just pulling out the battery for an hour and then reinserting it inside
Third, like I said, it booted and then froze with or without SD card inside

Thanks for everyone that helped me really :)
