Hacking Problem with R4 SDHC Dual Core

So.... i found a old r4 card from 2013. I was able to boot it up on my luma 3ds but when i tried with the non-cfw 3ds it crashed, i feel like i have the wrong files. Can anyone help? Thanks

Just to let anyone know
the stock 3ds is on 11.6

You probably have to update the firmware of the R4. But be aware that it might brick the card and render it useless.
The latest firmware for the card can be downloaded at http://www.r4isdhc.com:80/download_white_new2013/. It only says "6.3.0" but it should work with all 3DS versions.

You don't simply download the firmware. It has to be installed to the flashcard (and thus you probably have to run a .nds file).

Don't use YSMenu on 2013 dual-core, it could brick.
