Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

So i'm having an issue where the Injector won't start up? It began with an error while building an inject. I figured it was nothing, cancelled the inject and went to start it again. Except it doesn't load up at ALL. Any suggestions?
 
Stupid question, but did you try any other game?
yeah. I already installed a many games before, and two after. Metroid prime 2 is the only that I had this problem. oh and I already tried to download the iso in other sites. the game plays normally in dolphin emulator. but when I try the nintendont, it simply turn off the wii u after the wii logo appears in the gamepad.

Im trying to inject the Wii64 Rice with the program, but when i try to build it doesn´t let me, along with "Meta options are valid" in red. ¿Does anyone know why it happens?

And another thing, it is possible to specify where the Wii homebrew .dol is located in the SD card?

im trying to inject the DE Arcade classic collection and everything runs smothly, but i think im missing somethimg because wen i lauch the game in wii u i see it enters in vwii mode and after that i only get a black screen....
I saw that i needed patched signature? Wen it finish the inject it said that, but dont i already have it? I have CBHC booting directly in my wii u...
 
I've just been installing some Wii titles I've built for Gamepad play and the Swap L & R with ZL and ZR patch seems to break these games:

Mario Kart Wii (EUR) - Classic Controller Emulation + Swap L & R with ZL and ZR patches enabled
Resident Evil Archives (EUR) - Classic Controller Emulation + Swap L & R with ZL and ZR patches enabled
Resident Evil 4 (EUR) - Force Classic controller + Swap L & R with ZL and ZR patches enabled

Result for all these games: Black screen and console power cable must be removed to restart.

I then built and tested:

Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition (EUR) - Force Classic controller patch enabled only

Result = loads.

Any ideas @KhaderWelaye ? I noticed @FIX94 mentioned an issue with missing button swaps earlier but it seems that should have been fixed with nfs2iso2nfs v0.5.6. Does the patch work for PAL games?

Also semi related - I'm stuck on the Nunchuk screen in Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition EUR (Force Classic Controller patch), shouldn't that be skippable now that GetExtTypePatcher is implemented?

@FIX94 is it possible to update WiiXplorer to give it access to wiiU content with the gamepad support ?
gamepad support, yes.
wiiu content, I don't know. the "emulated disc" is a mounted link to an iso, but I don't think the IOS provides access to the content of the NAND. but as wiiu NAND/USB is still accessed, maybe there's a possibility.
but wiixplorer is not written to read/write Wiiu NAND file system.

Sorry I've been really inactive here, been really busy with the rest of life recently. Still planning on releasing a version with some more bugfixes, then probably open-sourcing this program and bowing out (got too much other stuff to worry about, and lets be honest I'm not a good programmer LOL).

I've noticed some people having problems where the program crashes right as it tries to open, try deleting the WiiVCInjector folder from your TEMP folder (Found at %TEMP%). If this gets locked for editing or the program can't delete it properly when launching, there may be issues.

Thanks for the great work on this for the final version before you abandon ship can you please add an option to select a default folder for the files to be saved to. It would speed up doing mutiple games where at the moment each game you make you have to select where the files are going.

Is there a way to "Force Force Classic Controller Emulation"? The InstantCC Patch is doing nothing to Mortal Kombat Armageddon and it keep recognizing the GamePad as a Wii Remote.

Please, on the app "Force Stop" the Sound in BootLoop if you click on BUILD to start conversion. It's about 1hour that I have muted my PC with the Mario Kart Fun 2017 BootSound I've made. :rofl2:

Some early released games fail to hook to the gamepad, NSMBWii has the same problem :c

No, NSMBWii has not a problem, it does not support Classic Controller at all.
You can build it emulating Wii Remote but it's not perfect since GamePad emulation doesn't support motion.

Hey, is it possible for us to run retail wii games using both the controller and real wiimotes?
With GamePad only 1 Player
Without GamePad up to 4 Players, select "NO GamePad" when prompted from the Wii U Menu.
 
No, NSMBWii has not a problem, it does not support Classic Controller at all.
You can build it emulating Wii Remote but it's not perfect since GamePad emulation doesn't support motion.
You can patch NSMBWii main.dol for it support CC, I've tried and it works when playing on the TV, but in gamepad mode it do nothing.

It's a mod, not "early games".
But I saw that you got DKCR and the Wii Kirbies working on GamePad, works perfectly?

It doesn't hook to the gamepad without the patch either.

Only DKCR works, Epic Yarn doesn't have a CC patch, and Return to DL has an anti-piracy protection that disable any modification to the main.dol :c

It's because those all have the same title ID (SMNE.) You can change it on the 'Gamepad/Meta Options' tab, but don't change the first 8 digits (00050002)
You will see a similar problem when injecting the Wiimms Mario Kart games too as they use RMCE02 - RMCE34.
That is why I made the suggestion to use the full game ID (e.g. RMCE34) instead of the shortened game ID (RMCE) in a future version.
