Exactly, I haven't been excited about Pokemon in over a decade! I never lose if I battle seriously, know all there is to the games, have played them all start to finish, so I'm just bored of them, I only want US/UM for the story.

Makes sense. I just play casual for fun lol. So theres still a challenge there for me

No new megas, just some new Z-moves and formes, nothing worth bothering with. I'm bored, if I battle seriously I never lose unless we start putting weird rules to give advantage to opponent (I play without tiers, but never use legends and even 1vs1 stuff in ubers/AG with NU and bellow), I couldn't care any less about the fights! Battles used to be fun, then everyone started making rules banning stuff they didn't want to use but that kicked their asses just so they could deceive themselves into thinking they are good and stall came along too and that's how Smogon was made. So yes, I only care about story.

I think USUM is also implementing a way to reuse Z-Moves in a single battle. Not sure yet if it is versatile or not, or if it will work in Link Battles.

Also if people are being paranoid about running it without turning WiFi off, perhaps just change the games titleid to an already released game? That way Nintendo doesn't know you're playing it. Connecting to GF's online servers would still probably get you a ban though.
Unless the SuMo ban came from the friends module itself when it sends the titleid to Nintendo's server and not when you connected to GF's servers? I'd honestly be willing to test this when UsUm leaks

You can't change the Title ID of main series Pokemon games otherwise they won't launch.

Really? Anyways, a friends module patch to not send the titleid/ send another ID can still be made. Nintendo's servers don't require it to return the token to let you play online.

Yeah, NekoMichi tried to change the title ID with Sun as per this thread and the game failed to load.

That's because the demand for other games is not as big as for Pokemon. And, well, if you're lucky enough not to be banned playing any game online early, just look at my sig - I was amongst hundreds of other people who wasn't

I know, they've sucked all the fun right out of the game! As one who reached top 8 in 2 world's, I hate having "tiers" just because there are some "great players" (yeah right) that can only win when they ban half the game except the team they use! Why do you think that Pokemon like Thundurus, Landorus, Terrakion, Kartana, Pheromosa and Mega Medicham haven't been banned already and sent to ubers? 99% of Smogon players are using at least one of those in their teams and that's the only reason they won't ban them! They ban the OP stuff when they don't want to face against them but don't when they want to use them, only reason things get sent to ubers and back on Smogon! They then act like they are amazing for winning against Corsolas with Legendaries like it even amounts to skill. It's not fun anymore.

By elitists I assume you mean the people who constantly clash about breeding vs genning because of a youtuber who wears a dog collar,or the actual try hards who complain if you use anything outside of smogon.
