quick question - can FBI use a QR code from an FTP link?

im trying to set up a quick CIA install for a friend and it seems like FBI always puts a http:// before the link no matter what the QR code says.

No. FBI isn't a full web browser. You would need an FTP app that takes QR codes for that.

After installing apps from titleTB and then launching them, my 3DS crashes. Help please
That's like saying you downloaded an exe file from chrome and now it doesn't work. Titledb isn't the issue, tell me what cia you downloaded from it.

This problem occurs with every cia

Edit: I think it wasn't understandable enough. When I install trough FBI something from titleDB, this happens. If I download the cia manually and install with FBI, everything is fine

I've heard titledb has been having some bugs lately, either it be downloading something or even having buggy listings. My suggestion is to either scan the qr codes from titledb web client or used the abandoned homebr3w that does the same thing

If I deleted Miiverse using it's delete ticket function, would the bar of 5 (now 4) items adjust their spacing, or would there just be an empty space where Miiverse was? Or will the Miiverse icon not disapear, and instead like crash when you click on it or something?

The miiverse icon will remain there, and loading it would crash the console, so the worst case scenario.

Darn. I was hoping for a way to get rid of it after Miiverse's shutdown. Too bad. Thanks.
You can use the home menu from 4.0, but that introduces so many more problems than it fixes. No clue why Nintendo's keeping it there, as on Wii u they got rid of Nintendo tvii.

What's on the 4.0 menu? And what problems would that make? I don't want to do that, but it sounds intriguing.
It's the vanilla Manu, which was before miiverse was introduced to the 3ds. There's a very big chance that it was on firmwares other than 4.0, but I remember being on 4.0 having that menu. The main issues would be incompatibility with many games/features of the 3ds which I cannot predict.

If the cia is meant to be imstalled to the nand it will. Apps installed to the nand manually that should be on the sd card wont show up and crash, so there is no option to force install to nand, as that is useless.
Oh. I see. So using DevMenu to install SD stuff to NAND won't help. Thanks.
