It's officially released by Nintendo. Get it off USB helper. I know that doesn't help your original problem but you've obviously done something wrong. If your wanting to know whats wrong upload your log and error files from the script folder for the op to look at.
the official version requires wiimote and sensor bar, that I do not have, and the injected game would allow the use of wii u gamepad.
I will post the log here

Why do you have a boot.dol in your SOURCE_FILES folder? The script thinks you are trying to inject a wii homebrew file and is completely ignoring your game.

Also Mario Strikers Charged requires Wii Remote and nunchuck so you won't be able to play this game with the GamePad anyways.

Thank you very much for the answer.
I was hopeful I could use Gamepad to play it.

After extensively using this script I have to extend big thanks for this script, updating and maintaining it as well as all the makers of tools like nfs2iso2nfs, Nintendon't and new forks of it, and all the other tools used in this. I've been enjoying myself making backups of all my Wii and Gamecube games and making installables out of them for my Wii U and with any my own games of my own region I've had no problems with. I had Problem with Project Zero 4, though undub inject of Project Zero 2 works, making me think there is some region thing going on that might need further work on the FW patching or maybe even doing something to the Wii iso before repackaging it.

If someone can remember and tell; I recall some way of manipulating region info etc. of a Wii image file - if you can point me to a good tool to do this with I will test this ONE SINGLE PROBLEM CASE I have had thus far.

But yes, overall, every Gamecube game I've backed up personally has worked, PAL backup of Super Mario Sunshine and all, and just about every Wii game too.

Oh also; Was there a way to make game specific configurations for Nintendon't? For the games that work well with widescreen patch while other's don't, it would be nice to make individual configurations for that.

Thanks for this easy script, and thanks to people who figured nfs2iso2nfs out (it took a long time from it's initial POC) and hell yeah Wii U: Machine that will play just about anything Nintendo with dozen different controllers.

Did you know if you have two led lights and you set them about 4 to 5 inches apart you can use it as a sensor bar for your wiimotes? I know its not usefull, just a fun fact, also the wii u gamepad has a built in wiimote sensor.

Yes and yes

Is there a way to inject a WAD Wii game?
Someone would have to figure a way to convert a wad to iso, it would take alot of f'in around, but it might be possible, might, don't get your hopes up though.

So I was packing some GC games and I ran into an issue. I packed Melee with the force 4:3 dol provided with the script and it worked great. Then when I packed Sonic Adventure DX, I used the dol provided a few pages back that forces a STRETCHED 4:3 image, that way I can use the wide-screen Gecko code. Then, I went to enable cheats in the nincfg.bin and I booted up Sonic Adventure DX and it worked perfectly. But when I try to boot melee again, I get a black screen. Anything I forgot to do? Any specific path to put cheats in? Do cheats mess up some GC injects?

I can't answer your first question about Project Zero 4, but I can answer your config question.

You can't specify a different config file for each game. HOWEVER there's a way to get your use-case to work. The way I do it is leave "Force Widescreen" and "WiiU Widescreen" turned on in my configuration file for games that support it, and when I'm building the title, force 4:3 for the games that don't. That way the forwarder is forcing "Force Widescreen" and "WiiU Widescreen" off despite what the configuration says.

If you have a game that works better in widescreen using an ISO patch or a gecko code as opposed to built-in nintendont hack, check out this post where I posted about my widescreen setup, also including a custom compiled forwarder dol that forces "Force Widescreen" to be off but not "WiiU Widescreen" so that I could patch the games to be widescreen with other methods.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
