I'm really new to modding, so this may be a dumb question, but whenever I play the GC game I installed using this method, I'm not able to save because it can't detect a memory card. Do I have to mod my vWii to set up a virtual memory card that the GC game can read?
You can enable memory card emulation in nintendont in the settings menu

Your SD card is probably locked. Make sure it is unlocked (the prong on the side closes to the pins)

Or the virtual card is not enabled. (lol i figured that was on by default really.)

I'm sure someone could share a nintendont config with you

I think it worked, at least packing a game completely ibto the package. I used a NTSC-J game repack that is confirmed 100% functional, but black screens on my PAL wiiu. You are the wrong perdon to tell this since you are just building a tasty easy to eat cake from incredients others have built.

But: I think wii games need a FW patch or something to force video modes or something that is causing US and JP games in few rare cases to black screen on boot, while they work fine on NTSC systems. I am fairly sure it could be that since the FW image on virtual packs of wii games have it's own FW image seperate from the main vWii nand and all. I could be even off, I just have a well educated hunch that regions and maybe video signal modes have something to do with it... Probably possibly.

Depends, WBFS handling has been reworked for more stability (if that's even your source), so give it another try. Post the logs here if it fails. I can also test the games if you like.

@ploggy has identified an issue with the homebrew ISO base that may be causing some of the speed issues we are seeing with Nintendont, I am testing with a different base now. Thanks for investigating this.

Nintendont isn't saving my configuration, anyone knows what to do? , I'm launching it through HBC on vWii

nintendont only actually saves its config once you launch a game with it, if you exit out before it wont.

Shit I made SADX and selected to not autoboot and I cant actually run SADX, only nintendont which can't access SADX
What do
Does not autobooting gives an option to actually play the game?

It gives me only boot gc disc which didn't work and my SSBM copy on SD card
remake it with autoboot on and then delete the game and re-install it? If its giving problems i would try that.

download the latest dol from fix94's github
Yeah I just realized he is probably using an older version if its not showing up at all.

https://github.com/FIX94/Nintendont
Its at the bottom of the page, click on loader.dol, when its done, rename to boot.dol and put it in your sd:/apps/nintendont folder

So in order to change the nintendont settings, I always need at least 1 iso rom in my sd:/games folder? Everytime I change the settings without an iso rom I always get an exception error.

I never thought of that before, but that sounds right, i just use the forwarder to boot my gamecube games, but if you use only the autoboot forwarders, i can see where this would be a problem

I agree. WIth Autoboot and WideScreen on with option to force 4:3 Is there right now any reason to need to hit the menu since you can set every games settings for each one personally?
