Vitamin 3.0 is being released This Month!

So basically, TheFloW is releasing a proper game dumper THIS MONTH that will allow you to play proper and safer Ps Vita game backups!

Note: This DOESN'T mean you can dump 3.61/3.63 OR 3.65 vita games!yet

Here is the Tweet unveiling the surprise:

  1. The upcoming tool is a plugin called NoNpDrm and allows you to bypass DRM, respectively to share any digital games (inclusive additional content). It will also allow you to run Game Cards from MC/SD/USB.
  2. You can call it Vitamin 3.0, however it is NOT a dumper.
  3. Using the plugin, you can simply copy&paste any game from gro0:app/ux0:app and then install and launch them on other devices/accounts (provided HENkaku is installed). This is possible by using a fake license which will be generated by the plugin.
  4. Unlike the previous dumpers, NoNpDrm assures you that the game is untouched and every game (<= 3.60) will be compatible.
  5. This means that the way the game is installed and launched is pretty much official. For example game updates can simply be downloaded and installed from LiveArea.
  6. People who can not activate their devices anymore, but still have games installed on their devices, will also benefit from this plugin: by getting a fake license from someone else, they will be able to play their games again.
  7. The plugin will be available this month.

Do you think they could actually pull off Ps2 emu? like honestly tho
Well, i mean ps2 on vita? Not really, but people had a better chance of HD remasters like final fantasy 10 on vita, it would need reprogramming, if wii u can't pull of ps2, hell no the vita can't. :P

Though some ports would been nice, even ps3 can play ps2, vita can't so think about that . :)

From what i have read online n64 and sega dreamcast emulation isn't really even that good on a pc. Maybe playable, but not good. So good luck trying to get those systems to run on a ps vita.

PS2 uses a lot of custom hardware, and to top it off, the Vita simply doesn't have the horsepower for it, CPU-wise (go have a compare at the specs between the two). A PCSX2 or Play! port may be feasible given an awful lot of time and dedication, but would just eventually be a wasted effort because of all those drawbacks.
Full-speed PS2 emulation is a pipe dream, quite frankly.

PC Dreamcast emulators might not be as good, but Reicast is an excellent, well-optimised emulator for ARM devices (IIRC). The last time I tested Sonic Adventure 2 on a GPD XD, I got solid 60fps throughout the whole game. :)

Working game dumper/backup loader. (Feeding the trolls) :creep:
There are efforts atm to get a loader for unmodified Gamecard dumps loaded by Vitas. The release date could be soon if everythin works out, I heard. All we have atm is loading of dumps that contain alot of modifications which cause alot of problems. - Don't worry, it won't enable piracy of >3.60 games and updates ;)

Please let it be good N64 emulation. If it is I might go out and buy a Vita again. :P
People work at getting dynarec ready for the N64 emulator (RetroArch) on Vita. The emulator itself already is working but slow due to lack of proper dynarec support.

From what i have read online n64 and sega dreamcast emulation isn't really even that good on a pc. Maybe playable, but not good. So good luck trying to get those systems to run on a ps vita.
I can't speak for Dreamcast emulation, but for N64 emulation the problem isn't that PCs are to slow, actually you can emulate N64 on fairly old PCs, the problem is that the exact behaviour of the hardware isn't known enough to get a accurate emulation. This leads to some annoying sometimes even game-breaking problems with some of the less known games, but all the larger titles such as Super Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie already work great.

It's firmware spoof. So we can play games that require 3.60+
Or a Vita coffee maker?
Snowflake shield?
Hentai games!

An emuNAND-like system or updates to cfw like the PSP days.

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show.
