Okay, I seen enough of this. First, this is being honest, not disrespectful or mean by any means.

Your initial post was this.
Hello, I'm working on a new Miiverse since the old one is shutting down

If you looked at other people who do post like this one.
https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-virtuanes-for-3ds.465461/

There is a list of what is featured, and not featured, what is planned and even a download link to a working version of the project, even some pictures. If you was gonna present a project to someone, Make it presentable.

Show something worth getting someone's attention. Please don't create post of "Starting a project" without any proof of concept. So already, your presentation is hugely lacking.

Second, if you want feedback, you need to accept criticism. Was you making it for yourself or all of us? If you was making it for yourself, then you don't have to be here or ask for any feedback. If you was making it for us or anyone for that matter, you have to be open to all feedback, even disrespectfully harsh rude ones. I'm not saying you have to agree or like everyone's opinion, but least listen, consider it and act like you are trying to work with the community you presenting this to. Yes people say nasty things, but what do you expect when people have been through the same kind of stuff all the time, people already aren't open to things which doesn't give people enough reason to care. If you don't show people you care for their concerns, you already messed up with the community.

Last, I dunno whether you are considering making this project real in the future but I would like to see it working just as it does now if possible. Simple Miiverse posting i have now on 3ds/wii u in this new "Miiverse 2" Also please use a different name, and assets that doesn't take too much from nintendo as people said it gives them enough reasons to take LEGAL ACTION AGAINST YOU. If you succeed, I'm glad you did and appreciate you keeping a feature our game consoles have. If not, then I dunno what else to say, not many would seem disappointed by it but I hope you do your best.

If you messed up the presentation, you already lost all hope of anyone reading this. There is people out there nice enough to tell you what you could do to have fixed this or prevent this dislike train that has started. @Lilith Valentine was clear and helpful with her post, but someone else could have easily just reported it and called a mod, having them decide whether or not this was worth keeping open to allow others to continue these comments. You are better off just continue your project and when you present WORKING PROOF OF CONCEPT that you managed to replicate miiverse, then come back and post this content, instead of continuing to post more and still haven't managed to convince them is real.

Once again, i wasn't saying this to be mean, I was just pointing out a few things, hoping it helps you.

ok, thank you so much :)

I just hope nintendo doesn't update smash bros to remove the miiverse stage. Maybe the most unplayed stage in the game but is dumb to add things then turn around and remove it. Is funny to see random miiverse images to distract my opponents with. :P

Still always bothered me, why can't people do colored drawings on miiverse? All of them are in black and white.

They won't remove it, its just posts won't appear anymore

So some serious suggestions to the OP.
Making a fan project and using already copyrighted images is going to get your project flagged by Nintendo. Quick bit of advice

I seriously suggest not trying to remake Miiverse using Nintendo's art, terms, etc. The second Nintendo see that, they will DMCA that without hesitation nor leave it open for discussion. So you need to make an alternative that isn't Miiverse, but acts like Miiverse. You are also going to have to make it work with the 3DS and Wii U (possibly the Switch when it's hacked.) This isn't a minor suggestion, this is going to be a requirement for your project to be taken seriously.
Get a real server and don't use weebly. Weebly is extremely limited and not going to do for this project. You are going to need a server with enough space to hold everything and the control to be able manage all of this. Weebly simply will not be enough for this kind of project and you are wasting your time trying.
Last bit of advice, request this thread to be locked and come back when you have something better to show us. It's obvious that you had an idea and nothing more than that. So you threw together a weebly page hoping everyone would be on board. Learn how to program on the 3DS and Wii U, learn how to make a site, buy a server, etc. You need to show commitment for us to be on board, otherwise no one is going to take you seriously.

Hey @Ley111, I have a couple concerns with this, and ya know, i'm gonna say them.
  • You're using weebly.
You will never, I repeat never be able to make a clone anywhere near the quality of Miiverse using Weebly, it's much too clunky. All of the site designs are not even close to Miiverse, and hell, you're using a blog design to attempt to create a new social media site, that doesn't work, using comments as the community just isn't gonna work, period. You can't use it to share drawings, or have game compatibility, please, please.

DON'T USE WEEBLY

And now, here's how you could fix this,
  • Learn html, it's not too difficult and you could actually make a nice type of miiverse community website, here's an introductory to html video, maybe try to learn?

Onto my next issue.
  • Will people really want to use this?
The reason I say people won't really want to use this is that it has zero integration with nintendo consoles, ya know, the things you're supposed to use Miiverse on. I have never seen anyone ever use PC Miiverse, and I really don't expect anyone to load up a browser just to use a fake Miiverse. It really doesn't appeal to me, or for that matter, I don't think it really appeals to anyone.

Furthering this, you do know why people want Miiverse to be revived once it's dead, right? It's the game compatibility (maybe a select few want to use it to talk about the games), this can't do that, no matter what you try to do, you're not gonna be able to use this as a server, you're not gonna be able to get the games to fetch comments from a weebly section (unless you learn to code and edit the games to do so.) To me it seems kinda useless.

I don't really think you can change this, unless you're some masterful coder, or have somehow obtained the source code for all of Miiverse, you'd probably have to talk to a developer if you're not willing to attempt to learn.

Please take all of this into consideration, you seem really eager to try to recreate Miiverse, maybe during your freetime try to learn some code be it C, C+, html or php.
have a great day :)

I think anything of value has been said by now.

OP if you have any major developments that warrant discussion, please PM me. Otherwise, I am locking the thread for now, as this has largely devolved into just poking fun at OP for using Weebly and is not constructive in any way, shape, or form.
