Hacking Old 3ds with B9s format

Hi,
I wanted to ask quick question, I currently own a old 3ds last version + B9s with old data from me there, but I want to give it to a friend.
Is there any way to format the console while keeping b9s, just a fast way to erase mii, save etc
I knew there was an homebrew for that but is that safe with B9s ?
(If i am right it was tiny format)

I suggest making a NAND backup and OTP/bootrom backups before you do, so your data is recoverable if you ever choose to get another 3DS.

I do not need backup, that a 3ds recovered from brick and i do not use it since I have new system since ^^

keep it . . . although with a ctrtransfer it should not be needed
