The procedure entry point ?CreateFromStreamDomainShaderOpenGL@USC@YAHPEAEIPEAXAEAPEAX@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\WINDOWS\system32\ig8icd64.dll

Having this issue opening RetroArch on W10 x64, can't find a solution. Using Intel HD Graphics drivers latest version.

well the thread title certainly got people's attention lmao

the reason I named it that though was actually because I got this error in a different program too and keep getting display errors in other emulators like nestopia and regen

Looks like Intel screwed something up here.

AFAIK, the Windows GPU driver interface uses a C ABI, not C++. This is a C++ function, and MSVC's `undname` utility isn't able to unmangle the name, which points to it being compiled with Intel's own compiler.

The only suggestion I'd have is to update your GPU driver. Note that if this is a laptop, you're usually stuck with whatever customized version your laptop OEM has, since using the upstream Intel driver might break things like brightness keys.

yeah it is a laptop, and a low-end one at that lol
tried updating the driver and it said no updates were available or something

hmm. I reinstalled W10 and it works fine now
I meant the actual chip, not the driver version. (HD 4000, HD 520, etc.)

Though I guess if it works now, then it's not an issue anymore.
