Probably because it was there before you started? If I removed it and you stopped, it would just be requested again. Come back when it's fully translated.
Lol don't worry, this project will never stop except something happen to me.

I have a unique request:

http://www.cainsdomain.com/

Has already translated SaGa 3: Shadow or Light. They did a great job and I respect their work.

I want to do a different project that would require changing ALL the txt. It would probably be easier to change the patched English txt in a patched rom than going and translating all of the Japanese text yet again.

Is there a good tool to use for this project? Obviously, Cain's work will be credited, but I won't be using anything they wrote or translated, just the actual English translation as a template.

Game Name:
  • Wizman's World
Release Date:
Game Info:
  • Genre: RPG
  • What it's about: The main character is a magician who goes into dungeons and fights monsters. There are 3 fairies/homunculi who accompany you and are able to fuse with souls of fallen monsters.
  • Popularity in Japan: 0.01m units sold in Japan
  • Why I want this translation so badly: It looks so amazing and the gameplay is quite nice as well. Furthermore, I just love games where you can raise/battle with monsters.
  • Why I don't think this will come out in the West: It's a DS game which was released in 2010. I think it's safe to say it won't come to the west.

Game Name:

Release Date:

Game Info:
  • Genre: Sports, Golf
  • What it's about: This is a nice little golf game, similar to "Everybody's Golf" on Sony platforms, or the Korean game "Pangya". It has a huge story mode, (fictional) golf courses from all around the world, and different characters you can play as.
  • Popularity in Japan: This game was some kind of a hidden gem, since it was released at the very end of the DS lifespan, and the genre is not hugely popular.
  • Why I want this translation so badly: The story mode is the core mode of the game, and the only way to unlock additional characters. That's why a translation is needed to fully enjoy the game.
  • Why I don't think this will come out in the West: The game is 6 years old, and still not released in the west.

Game Name:
  • Yu Yu Hakusho DS : Ankoku Bujutsukai Hen
  • Scene Release Topic
  • The scene release topic is for potential ROM hackers to easily find info about the ROM itself so they can examine it (type of compression used, etc.) and decide if they want to tackle the project. You can easily find the topic if you search here by title.
Release Date:
Game Info:
  • Genre: Action-RPG
  • What it's about: Game follows the story of the Anime/Manga YuYu Hakusho. Yusuke Urameshi and his allies solve crimes and fight to save spirit world and earth.
  • Popularity in Japan: Like most other Yu Yu Hakusho games, it was received well in Japan, but not ported to america
  • Why I want this translation so badly: Top down action RPGs are my favorite genre, next to platformers. I love Yu Yu hakusho. Its one of my favorite series. I watched it constantly as a kid. I also love the Legacy of goku series on GBA(2 and Buu's fury more so). its my favorite GBA game. This game seems like its that sort of gameplay(Legacy of Goku), only with a different anime (Yu Yu Hakusho). but I can't get far in the game because I cant read Japanese. Any of the Yu Yu Kakusho games translated would get a great amount of attention. there is also a large fanbase for the legacy of goku games(game play and style). so those wanting something similar will also appreciate this. Its a fun game and I just want to enjoy it fully
  • Why I don't think this will come out in the West: Yu Yu Hakushos popularity in the US has always been up and down, but in recent years since it ended, it has dropped to just down. Distributors may think its a waste of money to release a game about an old series no one watches anymore, though it still has a strong fan base of older ones.

hey thought id let ya know gakupuri already has an english patch. tenipuri umi to yama love passion hasn't been translated at all in the last few years(i know i've been looking all over for the last three years lol) i really wanna play that game. don't know much japanese, but there is someone who has translated a few routes and the title screen already here's the link: http://dokipuri-guide.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html

Game Name:
Release Date:
Game Info:
  • Genre: Visual Novel
  • What it's about: You play as Rei, an amnesiac who possesses the power of Geass, his being the power to dominate any and all with his voice. This game takes place in the story of Code Geass, allowing you to follow, alter, or pursue different events that were shown in the anime Code Geass. You have many paths to choose from: Fighting as a Britannian soldier of the Holy Britannian to help maintain order in the conquered nation of Japan as an ace Knightmare (mecha) pilot, join the Black Knight terrorist organization to liberate Japan from the racist tyranny of Britannia as one of their Knightmare pilots, abuse the power of your Geass or use it in moderation, discover the nature of your power and your origin, or live the life of a normal schoolboy of the prestigious, elite, and welcoming Ashford Academy. All the while, you can find love and romance women from any of the three main paths (Britannian soldier, Black Knight terrorist, or schoolboy).
  • Popularity in Japan: It was successful enough as the second Code Geass game and its sales seem to have warranted the creation of the third of three games. As a game related to the very popular and successful Code Geass anime, the people of Japan really wanted a game like this.
  • Why I want this translation so badly: The prospect of playing as an important character and interacting with other characters from the amazing Code Geass is a very interesting premise. But definitely the biggest reason I want to see this game translated is because it's already been partially translated. The fan translation team that worked on the game for quite a while disbanded, gave up, and never finished. I can't say how much of the game is done, but from posts that I've read, a decent chunk of it seems to be completed. Thankfully, the tools and information for what's been done and can be done in the future is still left behind on the YouTube video from one of the old team's head members and on their old site.
  • Why I don't think this will come out in the West: The game has been out for over 9 years. Despite the popularity and love Code Geass has in the West, a Code Geass game has never been released outside of Japan. On top of this, Bandai is the company behind the game's publishing, and Bandai is notorious for being stingy with games under their belt.

My Offering:
  • Digital assets: Old work already done on the translation still exists online and can be continued. (I can very easily link you to things if you're not able to find assets/info, but it shouldn't be too hard to Google some additional things that I haven't already included.)
  • Knowledge of the game: I'm rather familiar with Code Geass as a franchise, so I can lend a helping hand on that department if need be.
  • Actual talent: I'm a rather skilled writer, and I'd be more than happy to help with any writing involved with the game. However, I have no knowledge of Japanese.

Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan is the second game of the Naruto RPG series released for the Nintendo DS (the first being released in the US as Naruto: Path of the Ninja). A limited edition version of the game was created as well. This version has Sasuke on the cover, as well as on the manual and the game card.

the thing being quoted said:
Whatever it is, changelog, release notes, etc...
Mostly used when posting changelogs

I just want this translated for people who never played this so they can play the Path of the nina series in order

Would anyone consider translating the DS version of Sim Tower? That game was amazing on the PC back in the day and the fact that it exists for the DS is awesome, but its incredibly frustrating that they never localized it outside of Japan.
