Can loading an exploit page from another person work on a different Wii U?
Like using someone elses website? Yes, there are a few (even the loadiine portal) that are hosting this exploit but the chances are significantly lower of it working

I dont see what changing my delta would do if my exploit page doesn't load, or am i misinterpreting the point of changing the delta? I suppose I could change the delta, I'll try just about anything at this point.

Try this:

1. Download the SOURCE files from the original post
2. Download Mongoose 6.5 from here: https://backend.cesanta.com/d.shtml?9DPNR5DTT1OX9RAD
3. Put the source files from the OP in a folder on your desktop (see screenshot!)
4. Extract Mongoose and put it in the SAME folder as step 3 above (see screenshot!! - the executable or app file 'Mongoose' needs to be in SAME folder)
5. Run MONGOOSE from the folder in STEP 3
6. It should launch a browser showing the INDEX.HTML of the payload on your PC
7. Go to your WiiU and ensure the DNS is set to AUTO ASSIGN
8. Launch the WIIU browser (delete save data) broswer will exit so launch it again (OPEN the curtains!!)
9. Go to address in WIIU browser as shown on your PC (type this EXACTLY including any HTTP and ports provided)
10. This will serve a white page with hyperlinks
11. Select EXPLOIT
12. With any luck about 5 seconds later you should see the WIIU logo in bottom right hand corner and it will launch HBL

let me know how you get on! ;)

Selfhosting is too complicated for me so I need to try websites from users that are hosting the exploit.

Normally, yes.

How can you change the delta

Open payload/exploit.html in a simple notepad app and look at the beginning, there is a "delta" line something like 0x0200000 and change 2 to 0, 1, 3 or 4.

Try to run exploit on your Wii U and if it freezes, change delta, then retry and so.

Had to change mine to all numbers, twice if I remember well (2, 0, 1, 3, 4, 2, 0, 1, 3, 4 : success).

I am not self hosting. Can you edit the delta on the regular exploit page?

self hosting is isn't complicated.. in fact it seems to be the best and most reliable way to get this exploit to work... I tried c100 times over 2 days to get it working without any success.. first time I hosted the files myself and it worked (I have a success rate of 2/2 (100%!)) since self hosting!! I've posted above the easiest method to self host with Mongoose 6.5 and provided links for Mac OSX and Windows... it REALLY is easy and straightforward!!

ok so i get the index of/ page but no matter where i run mongoose it displays the same s tuff and I cant even navigate to where my exploit is. If i try to run the index.html with mongoose directly i get an invalid operation too
EDIT: Nevermind I figured it out, I'll report back with any success.

Can I try using your exploit link instead of me having to self host myself and see if it works

I officially launched my website for the exploits, it has a nice GUI and i'll be updating it with support for 1.4 homebrew launcher soon. Link is http://classicmods.com/WiiUExploit . You can read more about it here. EDIT: I forgot to mention that I am using a slightly different method of having the exploit load.

you put MONGOOSE inside your folder (WIIUTest-master) and then run it!

So I get a popup that says verify... than if i hit OK it freezes.

It takes all of 15 seconds to get your selfhost started, literally download the folder and mongoose that pangster linked too than type that url in your wii u.

where are you seeing 'verify'? on your WiiU browser or PC browser and when do you see it? is it after you press 'EXPLOIT'?

On my WiiU once i hit exploit it pops up saying verify.

ok.. well there is good news and bad news.. the good news is that you can get self hosting working!! -the bad news is that for some reason it looks like Delta 0x02 doesn't work for you (which is the stock one in the file)...

SO... open up your folder (WiiUTest-master) or whatever you called it (on your Desktop) - go to the 'payload' folder and then open the 'exploit.html' file in a text editor.. you'll see a line of code (about 4 lines down):

var delta = 0x02000000; //from 0x0 to 0x04000000 step by 0x01000000

change '2' in the 0x02000000 section above to change the delta i.e. changing this:

var delta = 0x02000000; //from 0x0 to 0x04000000 step by 0x01000000

to this:

var delta = 0x04000000; //from 0x0 to 0x04000000 step by 0x01000000

will change your Delta from 2 to 4.. cycle through each delta (saving the file each time) and repeating each of the manual steps in the instructions above and you should get it to work!

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Thank you both so much holy shit

did you get it working??
