Maybe it's the version of Four Swords I'm using, but the weird thing is that it worked on my N3DS when I tested it out.

Be warned in trying to downgrade through ugopwn and twtool. I now have a super handy paper weight now, even though I followed all instructions perfectly. Guess im gonna have to be late to the modding scene again...

fwtool isn't a user friendly application- this is exactly why RocketLauncher isn't out yet.

Everyone is complaining about how RocketLauncher is practically release ready, etc., but the real reason it's delayed like how it is, is simply that there needs to be something safer than FWTool before anything else happens. If they release it now but 30% of people brick (let's be honest, a majority of users are on 1.4.5), then that's not good. So personally I would rather wait than brick.

Thats true, but the $40 that I could use for a new dsi, could go to a gram of well needed dabs instead hahaha

Yeah, Ive got my backup thank god. The only part I messed up at was reinjecting after I encrypted it. Now I just get a black screen on boot

Hardmod can save you, next time check your nand with no$gba before flashing. Also remove the footer from nand image after testing.

No. "It is not through tested, so use at you own risk!"

Same fwtool with nand size and decrypted nand check added. And yes some people used it. Still better if you have hardmod, this is an advanced tool. Know what you are doing and always use no$gba to test your nand.
