hey

can you detail the problems you're having with 1.6.4 if any and explain the loading methods to see if we can find a pattern?
did the problems happen in 1.6.3? can you test if you haven't
the same all the way for 1.6.0 please and thank you.

Foxy. I say this kind day. Really. You might need to talk to someone. Like to get some chill pills. You need to learn how to relax. You will enjoy it all better then.

Also. I keep my roms unzipped. If that changes anything I doubt it.

Cores folder.

I never zip my ROMs either. What I'm going to do is record a video, show how I load up my Wii U, the RA launcher, etc, to prove I'm not crazy  Other people are obviously experiencing issues with emulator lockups, so I know that there is empirical evidence that there's something afoot. I only got four hours of sleep due to stress and anxiety. I'm sorry for being crazy, I'm only trying to explain how I've been using the app, and how I got the error, nothing more.

Already posted a bug report on GitHub about 45 min ago.

@Radius4
Here's the link, I hope the info is detailed enough.

A surefire way to get the error is spam-loading ROMs and changing cores over and over.

It's been happening to me ever since the 1.6.0 release. And only with the Genesis core for me. I'm using CBHC if that means anything.

You keep your roms zipped? I like mine NAKED! lol
@the_randomizer Dont "load core" then "load content" just "load content" and browse to your rom, I havent had to load a core manually for ages... That or make playlists. :)

That still shouldn't cause any issues, I just want a surefire way for devs to reproduce the error. Loading cores manually, or automatically, should be equally stable IMO. I guess I can try playlists, but the fact stands there are errors to be squashed.

Hey, when you guys change cores do you close the current rom or just boot the next core? I always close the current content first before loading the next core

so maybe faulty games could be a certain percent of errors?
It wouldn't be faulty games. Unless you think mine are. They aren't. First time error.

But I loaded retroarch launcher, then played the sonic and knuckles 3 game for a few. Then went and played toki tori for a few minutes. Came back to retroarch to play genesis again and got this.

The lock on games are tricky, depending on how they where dumped, or joined together. who knows, maybe the problem is with haxchi?
