Homebrew help error on start up

my 3ds was working fine yesterday and now i keep getting an error when i start up. i can go into godmode no problem though

Hmm I want to ask the same question as @Giodude. It seems off that your console would suddenly throw a homemenu error without some sort of user input. Accusations aside, were you messing around with Godmod before this happened?

no i didnt mess with god mode. and i didnt touch any buttons all i did last was play curtain call then shut the system off. the next day when the system turned on this happened. i never touched god mode except for what the 3dsguide told me to. i only said god mode cause i was wondering if anything would load and i remembrer godmode which loaded fine

Maybe it's just a bug error then. Does it happen every single time you start your console? And how many times have you tried? Try to download some clean system titles for your firmware/region and install a fresh homemenu. That's my advice.

I meant, if you ever do..... Maybe try replaing the boot.firm with a fresh one.

lol my bad. but i tired it and nothing changed. tried booting without a memory card as well but still the same error

Update your GodMode9. Get the latest from https://github.com/d0k3/GodMode9/releases/latest

Did you move the luma folder to your CTR-NAND? Maybe your SD card isn't working and it is using the old GodMode9 on your CTR-NAND. Try moving the new one to the CTR-NAND as well.

Double check the version of Godmode9 when you load it, v 1.2.8 definitely has the "scripts..." option and is the latest stable version.
