Gaming AM I just unlucky? [Mesuda Method]

Chance is still pretty small, you have to endure the pain if you want a shiny that badly (and legit). Keep breeding :)
It´s like in Fire Emblem where you never hit with <80% accuracy.

Good luck. Hope you get the IV/Nature you want.
Thanks man! Destiny Knot + whatever that item is that keeps the nature. So they're all going to have the nature I want, and at least 5 perfect IVs:) - I worked hard as hell to get my toto and ditto to 6 ivs.

When I was a lad I ate 4 dozen eggs every morning to help me get

Every time I read your Pokemon posts I just feel a bit incredulous that you don't subscribe to the RNG methods now widely available and makes this very easy, kindergarten level in Gen 7 especially thanks to fantastic tools. Gen 6 breeding for comp shinies without RNG is ridiculous, and random. When doing it intentionally, it's incredibly time consuming, i.e. my attempts at a shiny Adamant Torchic with the right IVs. When not expecting it, it happens kind of quickly, a shiny 6IV Jolly Beldum in my case. Doing it all legit without any external tools doesn't make me feel satisfied, I just feel like I blown a lot of time. That rewarding feeling really stopped until I learned about IVs and natures and competitive sets. Before that, just catching a Latios in Ruby was life changing for me, and I don't remember what its info was, probably for the best.

The incredulous feeling is also tied with this being largely a hacking forum, where these RNG tools are very openly shared, and is a halfway point between legitimacy and outright hacking because it takes advantage of the games' style of genning pokemon essentially, something done since Gen 1 basically. If this was r/Pokemon or some community stringent on being legit, I wouldn't say anything like what I just said, I'd be like everyone above this post saying "Good luck" and such.

I'm mostly rambling to keep me level headed as someone is taking too fucking long to respond to their own trade request. Why make a request and not stick around for at least 10 minutes in anticipation for a response (I replied 5 minutes into that suggested window of time)?

Wait, there is a new RNG manip methode like in Gen 3/4/5 that doesn´t manipulate the game directly?

What? No, I was talking specifically about Gen 6 with little mentions of Gen 7. Gen 3-5 there's use of emulators and consoles come in thanks to TWLSaveTool for 4-5, and NDS Backup Tool for GBA games. Links here are really good.

If you hatch for about 2-3hours a day it happens in like 3 or 4 days
In ORAS I always got them in about 200hatches but was just getting them because I liked how they looked
Not perfect ivs or something like that just for show :)
Anyways the only one I was unlucky with was probably mareep 800eggs
Poplio still counting 500+

Or you could use something like the TimeMachine method that doesn't even require 3rd party software and is guaranteed to produce the pokemon you want. It's not as quick as using RNG tools, but it's not as long as blind breeding and always results in the sought pokemon.

if you reach 1k and got nothing at all, immediately close that game (save it ofc) and pray for RNG to give you that shiny .
