I'm probably at about 1,000 eggs. Have a Japanese Shiny Ditto, American Totodile...
Shiny charm...
Still no shiny... I'm losing hope.

Thanks man! Destiny Knot + whatever that item is that keeps the nature. So they're all going to have the nature I want, and at least 5 perfect IVs - I worked hard as hell to get my toto and ditto to 6 ivs.Good luck. Hope you get the IV/Nature you want.
Thanks manChance is still pretty small, you have to endure the pain if you want a shiny that badly (and legit). Keep breeding
It´s like in Fire Emblem where you never hit with <80% accuracy.
Wait, there is a new RNG manip methode like in Gen 3/4/5 that doesn´t manipulate the game directly?Every time I read your Pokemon posts I just feel a bit incredulous that you don't subscribe to the RNG methods now widely available and makes this very easy, kindergarten level in Gen 7 especially thanks to fantastic tools. Gen 6 breeding for comp shinies without RNG is ridiculous, and random. When doing it intentionally, it's incredibly time consuming, i.e. my attempts at a shiny Adamant Torchic with the right IVs. When not expecting it, it happens kind of quickly, a shiny 6IV Jolly Beldum in my case. Doing it all legit without any external tools doesn't make me feel satisfied, I just feel like I blown a lot of time. That rewarding feeling really stopped until I learned about IVs and natures and competitive sets. Before that, just catching a Latios in Ruby was life changing for me, and I don't remember what its info was, probably for the best.
The incredulous feeling is also tied with this being largely a hacking forum, where these RNG tools are very openly shared, and is a halfway point between legitimacy and outright hacking because it takes advantage of the games' style of genning pokemon essentially, something done since Gen 1 basically. If this was r/Pokemon or some community stringent on being legit, I wouldn't say anything like what I just said, I'd be like everyone above this post saying "Good luck" and such.
I'm mostly rambling to keep me level headed as someone is taking too fucking long to respond to their own trade request. Why make a request and not stick around for at least 10 minutes in anticipation for a response (I replied 5 minutes into that suggested window of time)?

That's not how it works.Good luck, the very least it will take you is 5 months of hatching eggs
