Homebrew * Needs Answers to Questions *

Hello guys,
I am starting to hack my wii u but there is some questions i got:

• If something goes wrong, how can i restore the NAND Backup?
• If i brick my vWii can i restore the vWii before the brick?
• Can i use a 128gb SD card for my wii u (For homebrews,Games [ONLINE]...)
• Can i use the same SDCard for vWii (For homebrews,Games...); If not, why?

1. "If you ever brick your device, you will be able to use this backup to restore it using a hardmod"
2. "NAND backup will allow you to restore your vWii to a working state if anything goes wrong."
3. "Your SD card must be formatted as FAT32 (64KB clusters if possible)."
4. Yes you can.

You will need 2 NAND backup each for both Wii u and Vwii

Not according to the website with the guide. But if you want a safe way to not risk much brick, I just install Haxchi and that is all, don't mess with homebrew if you don't know what you doing, if you install any wii u content, try usb first, if is safely working, you can move to internal storage after confirming work. As for vwii, is set up with no problems, as long as you don't install Unverified wad or ios files your system should be fine on vwii. It goes without saying but don't do anything stupid with the system. Always check with verification before doing something.

Is a ftp client for browsing wii u internal system storage. It should be used with caution as it contain data for the systems software required for games and other necessities. As basic use it allows you to manage data from the system since is encrypted and unable to get by normal means.

FTPiiU Everywhere allows you to browse console's NAND (SLC, SLCMPPT, MLC) and allows you to modify critical system files (Sometimes it doesn't.) and allows you to do some modifications, drop files and overwrite files. Requires CFW in order to run.

But once again, don't screw around with system files too much or you will end up with a bricked wii u.

Nope, it will create a endless abyss of "500 Success" (Aka. error message) and will result in your FTP program to try to copy contents to PC but it will fail anyways so it will retry till it lags your whole PC.
Best backup is by using NAND Dumper from wiiubru.com/appstore
