I was attempting to setup boot9strap and luna CFW on a O3DS running 11.4. I'm going the DSiWare Game Injection route using a O2DS that is already running luna CFW, also on 11.4.

So I purchase Sudoku on my O2DS, do all the prep on both SD cards, backup my NAND, and get to the point where I do the system transfer. During the transfer, I accidentally select "Use low power micro SD for transfer" instead of using the PC method.

After the transfer, I was able to successfully restore my NAND on the 2DS. The restore went fine. All games, saves, and CFW is fully intact. However on the 3DS, the system I'm trying to mod, I do not have the "SUDOKU" icon installed. I believe I can redownload it from the store, but from what I'm reading it won't help me.

What are my options here? This is the first dsiware injection I've done and I'm not sure how to proceed. Since I backed up my NAND on the 2DS and did a restore, can I do another transfer from the 2DS to the 3DS? Do I have to wait a week to do it?

Or worse, would I have to wait a week, do a system transfer from the 3ds to the 2ds, then wait another week and do a system transfer from the 2ds to the 3ds (after restoring the NAND). I'm not sure exactly how the NNID's work (or even how to tell which one it's running on).

Any help would be appreciated.

Install the game in the 2DS if you don't have it and prepare the save then in system setting transfer the game to the SD put this SD in the 3DS and transfter from the SD to the console.

Yeah you have to wait a week then inject then a week and then done so yeah you are fucked(unless you call Nintendo to transfer the nnid and save your self 2 weeks)

Is there a guide on how to do this? What is the movable.sed? Are you saying I can just copy the contents of my 2ds SD card to the 3DS sd card and it will move the game over?

No, because DSiWare is stored on NAND, not SD.
But if you export the game to SD on the 2DS (of course after restoring a NAND backup) and copy it over to the 3DS then you should be able to import it.

After doing the DSiWare Transfer, my hacked DSiWare does not work
  1. Reboot the source 3DS while holding (Start) to launch the Luma3DS chainloader menu
  2. Launch GodMode9 by pressing (A)
  3. Navigate to [0:] SDCARD -> gm9out
  4. Press (A) on nand.bin to select it, then select “NAND image options…”, then select “Restore SysNAND (safe)”
  5. Press (A) to unlock SysNAND overwriting, then input the key combo given
    • This will not overwrite your boot9strap installation
  6. Input the key combo given to unlock SysNAND (lvl1) writing
    • This process will take some time
  7. Once it has completed, press (A) to continue
  8. If you don’t see the game at all on the target 3DS, link the NNID you bought the game with to the target 3DS and redownload it
    • You may have to delete the game from “Data Management” in the “System Settings” first
    • If the target 3DS is not the latest version, you may have to run ctr-httpwn to access the eShop
  9. On the source 3DS, do the the save (and .app if you are using the .app page) injection steps
  10. On the source 3DS, go to System Settings, “Data Management”, “DSiWare”, then copy your DSiWare game to your SD card
  11. Either put the source 3DS’s SD card in the target 3DS, or rename the Nintendo 3DS on the target 3DS’s SD card and copy the Nintendo 3DS folder from the source 3DS’s SD card to the target 3DS’s SD card
  12. On the target 3DS, go to System Settings, “Data Management”, “DSiWare”, then copy your DSiWare game to the system
  13. Return your SD cards to normal, then continue with the DSiWare Injection
You can skip the NAND restore part since you've already done that.
