Not gonna both with the petition. Bandai knows there's demand for FighterZ on the Switch.

Xenoverse 2 on Switch seemed like a fun game to purchase but now with FighterZ known and all it just killed any momentum it had left.

I would considering getting a decent fighting stick for this game, BlazBlue, Guilty Gear Xrd, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom (2) and King of Fighters 14 on the Switch.

As much as I'd like Street Fighter to come to the Switch, as a more casual gamer now (because of free time) I find the faster pace, big combo, flashy super fighting games much more enjoyable and a better fit for the Switch.

Street Fighter is on the Switch but which one are you referring to in this case? SFV?

The whole Street Fighter series is much slower paced and more strategic than other fighting games mentioned above and no I'd like something like a Ultra Street Fighter IV MAX for the Switch (with Xbox 360 input lag times), something akin to the Alpha 3 MAX on the PSP with additional characters, stages and modes.

PS. I stopped playing fighting games once LCD TV/monitors became the standard, the technology has gone a long way is is much better now but nothing beats a progressive scan CRT monitor for fighting games although high end (expensive) OLED TV/monitors can come really close to providing the same experience as CRT's.

You know the producer of DBFZ is a woman? That blew my mind reading an interview with her. Anyways I signed the petition, and I don't even own a Switch, I have a PS4. The fan demand aspect is kind of lame, of course people will want this hot looking game on their system of choice, and damn, the Switch on its gimmick alone should've warranted a port to go alongside the other consoles and PC ports. It just smells of Bandai Namco not willing to put in some extra work or something, and really more people would like this over a Xenoverse 2 port, so why didn't they have the forethought for this over said game? Come on, Nintendo's practically a party game favorite company, and DBFZ lends itself as a fighting game romp, and Nintendo consoles aren't alien to that concept, see Super Smash Bros.

I think the answer is diversity, Smash which considered the forefront of fighting games on Nintendo consoles and plays like no other 2D fighting game out there.

With BlazBlue already announced and Guilty Gear likely making an appearance on the Switch depending on BlazBlue sales numbers, Dragon Ball Fighter Z is basically a clone (from the perspective of the average or casual gamer) of the other more established Ark System Works franchises.

Whereas Xenoverse is more unique in the sense is plays the a 3rd person action fighting game (much different from Tekken), kind of like the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series.

There's hope for a Xenosaga port.

A company is pretty damn stupid if demanding a port is the only way or condition on bringing a game over.
Hype based marketing.
If they said this, the game is probably already in port-production and will come no matter that petition.
They just only selected a very cheap way of initial hype-based marketing.
