Yes I still have an old TV WiiU using SVideo but the problem is on some games like to Breath of the wild, Its very difficult to read the dialogs and other kind of text.

On Wii we had to force 50 hz, so is it possible to use a real 4:3 ratio for the WiiU games?

I use a CRT too when I need to capture footage. That's also a reason to connect the CRT to the Wii U :P
But yeah, it's hard to read text in every game lol

We had a similar thread a while back

Short version is aspect ratio is possible but hard and nobody will likely do it. Replacing text with a larger/clearer font is a more reasonable prospect. What is more reasonable still is finding a better screen -- if a screen dies and someone puts it out it is worth grabbing to check it is not just capacitors that have gone as they can be replaced easily and cheaply with parts from any electrical supplier (or possibly another device you can scrap).

I get free Hd tv's from people throwing out their old ones. I got a 40 inch lcd hooked up in my garage and another a plasma in my living room I got for free.
Hdtvs are so easy to get they're everywhere. You can get cheap 80 dollar ones and I'm sure you can find cheaper.

If your CRT's in good condition, is a decent size, and has a fairly decent array of inputs, it's probably desirable to retro gamers - possibly even to the point where it could fund your upgrade to something more current.

Keep it! it's a better option for the retro stuff.

I would say hook it up to a pc monitor, but wii u doesn't support rgb full range, which can be a problem giving it a washed out look, unless your pc monitor supports limited range.

Go for a small size hdtv if your out of space, but I don't know how small your ok with and how far your planning to sit from your tv, which a bigger size would be better if you further away from it.

You can now find 'old' basic LCD HDTVs for less than 100 bucks (that's amazing how fast the TV prices evolve... My father boughtin 2010 a €1,014 HDTV. It nows sells new for €200.)

Most modern games don't support 4:3 aspect ratio. Probably because a 16:9 tv is dirt cheap now a days. It's like watching a non HD 4:3 movie on a HD TV, it looks horrible. You can literally buy an 16:9 1080P TV for $100, Probably even less then that. It's the reason why HDMI is the standard now a days. Because every modern TV has HDMI.

You can probably find someone on Craigslist giving away a 16:9 1080p TV for free.

You can try getting a small CRT TV (at 20 inchs or less) , with at least 720p support. It'll solve your problem with texts on HD games, and probably will fit in the same table as your CRT set if you move some things around.
The problem with texts on HD games is that they are already small at their proper resolution, and then when you downscale to play on your CRT they are actually shrunken, so running at the proper resolution even with a small screen will mostly fix the problem.
