One of my 3DS systems was hit in the ban wave. I went out and bought a new system and an ACNL cartridge (on my banned 3DS I had the eShop version of the game which can't be played online anymore). I don't want to lose that town after putting 4 years into it. I'm just wondering, using JKSV on my banned 3DS, could I backup my town from the eShop version and copy it over to the new cartridge version, and then continue playing it normally on the new 3DS? And then still keep using the old 3DS to make save backups to use this editor?
Yeah, it should work.

Trying to figure out how to inject my garden plus file? I'm using soundhax and both ACNL save managers on homebrew say missing title and I can't figure out how to get it to work on SVDT which is what I was using most recently to inject saves. Have they all been disabled or is it something I'm doing? Also is there any other compatible save managers for New Leaf?

Use the Homebrew version of JKSM instead of SVDT.

I recently hacked a second town tree into my town. It worked fine yesterday but today I can't get into my save, it crashes after the start up screen. I didn't change anything after yesterday and I've seen towns with 3 or 4 town trees, so I'm not sure what went wrong?

Your first tree must have enough free space around it in order to place special visitors.

Oh, sorry.
It was the plaza, not the tree. So the first plaza acre needs enough free space. Plaza trees can be anywhere.
Hmm...I wonder what the issue is then. I used to be able to have two trees just fine up until a couple days ago. Now whenever I try to put the second one back my game crashes after the title screen. I had them 4 spaces apart on opposite sides of a path.

How many buildings do you have?

@marc_max There's a small bug with eye colour, it says there's 8 eye colours but theres really only 6.
The last two reset to black ingame though in the editor they still show blue (because it's the last colour in the array) :)

I have all of the permanent buildings and the second tree is technically my 30th PWP because it was originally a fountain.

Edit: I figured it out. I removed some clovers from my waterfall and now I can have two town trees again. I guess save files can only handle so much at a time.

Well, I have two trees again, but now someone's game crashes when they try to visit my dream town (tested it from my other town). I also can't get into my secondary character files, only my mayor's file works.

Question: Im on 11.4, I have both AC:NL save managers installed as well as JKSM, and I can access the homebrew channel via Doodlebomb. However, every time I load up any of the save managers, it gets stuck on a green screen. Is there a way to fix that or do I have to wait for an updated payload? I am currently using the payload for the New 3DSXL on 11.4.0-37U if that helps.

PS: And I should mention that I have MGSV installed on Homebrew to access my Monster Hunter Generations save. That works just fine.

I remember a while back in this thread someone figured out how to place the pink cherry blossom and/or Christmas trees at any time of year, though they would return back to normal trees the next day. Does anyone remember how that was done? I can't find the post anymore.
