meh. DSiWare requires having an already hacked 3ds. What does interest me more is ntrboothax coming SoonTM. With that you won't need another 3ds and you won't need to hardmod. Just buy a compatible DS flashcart (if you don't already have one) and then use that.

Decided to do a speedrun of upgrading from a9lh v1 to b9s. Starting the timer from the moment I first turned on the 3ds (all files already on SD) to getting luma updater install finished. 2 minutes, 32 seconds.

He just did a speed run of upgrading from a9lh to b9s, the actual advantage of upgrading is minimal, you get to dump your otp and bootrom, everything else is pretty much on par with a9lh

Is this ok? After that i press Start and open Safehax but i always get PM INIT FAILED (I have tried both r19 and r21 versions). What i am doing wrong?

Make sure you're WiFi is on before launch udsploit, irrc it requires it to be on.

Now udsploit installs (i get an installed message with some zeros below) but safehax shows black screen and boots to emunand

r21 version of safehax gives me PM INIT FAILED
r19 gives me black screen and boots to emunand

Any idea?

Problem solved. I redownloaded the files and used r19 version

Is it safe to install b9s on consoles that have been downgraded via gateway then updated to 9.2 via cartridge? I know a9lh installs had issues with gateway downgraded consoles

I updated from A9LH to B9S successfully for Luma v7.1. What about future updates? On A9LH, I copied always the newest armloaderhax.bin to the sd-root to update.
Is that the same way with the boot.firm for B9S? What is the difference between B9S and Sighax, or is it the same ?

when b9s is installed when you start your 3DS just press select+start+X when turning on the 3DS it will dump your otp.bin in the boot9strap folder
