Hacking Any hope for a PS4 emulator?

I heard that ps4 CPU was close to be the same used in modern computer.
So is there any hope for a PS4 emulator anytime soon?

No, it won't happen anytime soon. Maybe in 3 years or so and to be playable for other 15 years later. Forget it. Get a PS4 anyway.

great, already have 1 (i7 7700k) processor, i can easily grab another from the store! (are you sure you didnt' meant 2x i7-6950X )
64 GB of ram, also check.
but why dafuq you need a gpu with that much memory? it doesn't make sense...

i know it requries a lot more power to emulate the console but it doesn't make sense that you are talking about needing a gpu with a very high ammount of ram.. you only take advantage of a gpu with a big ammount of ram if you are using ultra giant textures or you are doing work on video rendering)

Only Nintendo's consoles get emulated before they fade into obscurity.

The PS1 was emulated while the console and games were still being sold. Partly due to the speed that new hardware was being developed, partly due to the simplicity of the PS1 design and partly because emulators were relatively new and they overlooked how inaccurate they were.

If you could overcome the security and dump the games and the OS then someone might stand a chance of hacking something together.

Becasue it is a universal carrot after which researchers have been running since forever. Simple.

Mind you, molecule team is doing an astonishing job at it with enso henkaku being teased and all.

Once we get a "semi permanent/permanent cfw" for the vita i'd say the system is fully hacked. Even if anything past 3.60 still fails to run.

The Vita was thorougly hacked only last year. That stuff takes time. Look at Citra's current status and the 3ds had its major breakthough on 2015. In order to get an emulator fully functional you need to understand EVERYTHING hardware/software of the device inside and out. So yeah. Jcspsp and PPSSPP only came at the end of life of the psp. And the former was a sluggish mess because it was java based and slow. Now PPSSPP is even better than the real system at times with it being able to upscale and all.

Henkaku and enso are still not full hack,they more like a shell for executing some commands,the Vita not hacked to level 0 like the 3DS and other systems.

That's why you spoof games that requires +3.61 games.
