Hacking How to install YsMenu/WoodR4 on R4i SDHC 3DS RTS?

Hi, i have an R4i SDHC 3DS RTS with the website www.r4isdhc.com (is this a clone?)
How do i install WoodR4/YsMenu on the cart? I have searched on google but there's no downloads to YsMenu or Wood for the R4i SDHC 3DS RTS.

You can't install that on cards from r4isdhc.com or r4i-sdhc.com, it'll cause a brick...

NP, just install YSMENU. There's an autoboot R4.dat (which allows YSMENU to be the primary boot) somewhere on @retrogamefan's thread...

No prob, just a quick note: YSMENU won't be able to play some games with your card (including Pokemon BW/BW2) for unknown reasons. But, it is immune to the date softlock programmed into those cards...

If i do get softlocked, how can i make YsMenu my main boot? So that it instantly goes to YsMenu instead of the R4 Menu

@thatmanfromspace have the contents of your sd card laid out like this (TTMENU.SYS will generate itself after you boot YSmenu as primary kernel for the first time)

R4 cards usually have a "timebomb" on them, meaning when you reach a certain date the card will softblock itself and prevent you from using it, forcing you to buy a new one, it's a cheap tactic made by companies to force to you to buy a new flashcart every year, I heard setting the date back on your 3ds will let you use it again (they use the ds clock to tell if you've gone over the set date), but to be honest you're better off running wood or ysmenu in order to prevent the timebomb from ever happening.

How can i boot instantly to YsMenu? for now i can only boot YsMenu using the default R4 launcher. (To prevent the timebomb)

2) Backup the contents on your SD card
3) Delete everything on your SD card
4) Extract and put the contents of "R4i-SDHC YSMenu" on the root of your SD card
5) Profit

The r4.dat I linked you to. Just drag it to the root of your SD and you'll be fine...

Uh.. I think i bricked my microSD by doing that.. Now i can't read the microSD with my PC and it says Menu? when i try to use the R4

what do you mean you can't read? is it write protected? you might wanna check on the adapter because i have the R4i Gold Pro and it worked fine for me
