If you were expecting this to be a huge thread, its not. I'm just looking for opinions at the moment and then moving on make a more dedicated thread since I saw it no where on Google or the internet.
Zelda Breath of the wild is all about open world adventure, and with that you can do whatever you'd like in the game (even the story as well.) However I saw the potential one time after "shield surfing" there wasn't a lot of entertaining areas to actually do cool tricks, it just kind of served as a way to get to point A to point B, and so the thought came to me "Hey, why don't we add a leve builder!"
Looking back at other games like Infamous 2 which had a online "level builder", Super Mario Maker and Little Big Planet which all had the potential to allow the player to do as they please (With limited / appropriate levels depending on how well moderated content is.) Other games like Grand Theft Auto 5 also have this setup where you can make missions (which are levels.) In the game, encouraging more open world gameplay/adventure/action to the online mode.
Thinking about the concept, combining an online world/stage editor (On the original map, you cannot make your own "custom maps" (unless Nintendo thinks otherwise it's possible) with an open world adventure games actually sounds like a great idea to me, and I think it would add more of an interesting impact on the player base and give a reason to purchase Nintendo's online service. That is, provided you would like to play other users stages (You can make your own and play it in Single player.)
Leave some thoughts & suggestions below!
Edit: And yes this counts towards the Wii U to,
