Hacking N3ds xl, downgraded to 2.1.0-4eu using 3ds.guide but no functionality in Internet browser!

Hi so I'm driving myself up the wall trying to figure out why my N3ds xl shows full Internet signal but communication error whenever I try to connect to follow the next steps installing arm9loaderhax through the URL 2xrsa 3ds.guide and the other URL jukesrg.github....etc etc. I've Googled and everything to find the answer. Just keep getting the same issue of communication error. I've cleared the save data a dozen times on the browser. I've followed all the steps carefully from 3ds.guide and successfully downgraded to 2.1.0-4e. Now I feel I'm stuck when I'm almost finished! Is there any other way to install arm9loaderhax and luma and finish the cfw?! I'm relatively comfortable with the whole process of flashing, downgrading, upgrading etc as I use to flash psps back in the days and dabble with r4 cartridges etc but new to the whole 3ds thing. Help would be greatly appreciated.

have you read the troubleshooting on 3ds.guide?
anyway, never update with a cart or through recovery from 2.1 if you have a N3DS

Hi yes I had a good read through the trouble shooting guide. I saw the warning about updating with a cart or recovery etc so agree I won't even think of that option

have you tried to remove the battery to reset wifi?

Yes. WiFi shows strong signal but no matter what I try to connect to weather URL add or website thru search it just gives me a white/grey screen with communication error

Yes I believe I did in one of the steps before I got here.

Double check the file in your SD card, make sure it is the correct files required for this step, also clear the cache from your browser.

Oh yes it's where I had to do the key sequence I remember.

Will be doing that shortly. Guess I better retrace my steps and double check everything

If you still can get it to work, try going to the Connection 1, click edit, dns manual and set dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

No error number. Either communication error or can not load if I remember. More of the first msg thou

I think @Kiaora is seeing the "Cannot load part of this page" error. Please, if you tell us the EXACT error, it will be easier for us to help you.

As @noragrets said, post an screenshot of your SD roots and all folders/subfolder that the guide told you to create.

My other half has an identical N3ds xl and connects fine to the WiFi if that helps
