Different things. It happens when you max out memory and can be done in a variety of ways. What causes the C8 error?
My personal setup is done. Mirroring yours on a second unit is what I'm most excited about. I'm ready to go back in on Lynx and get my S.T.U.N. Runner and Pit Fighter fixes! Among other things. Can't wait. (But obviously take your time and perfect it as you need to!)
Awesome, thanks!I am playing some PSX games at the moment, thanks to this @AndyVr's helpful thread:

i also use mame2000 for Nibbler.. just seems to run better
But I don't know what input to change. Nothing says "get rid of mame options menu." Like I said, on a computer, you just hit escape, or tab depending on what you want to do with the menu, but I don't know what input to change on the nes classic's version of mame. What is the mame menu called ? I'm not talking about the green bordered menu. It's the black and white menu that pops up and gives you stuff like slider options and stuff like that.My setup, following the guidelines of 300 mb games max, 10 mb in HMODS, will still allow space for save states. Just don't go crazy making a ton of them. Best thing to do is play a few games at a time, then get rid of those saves, and move onto others! If you overload ANY setup with save states, you will turn the system on and get a permanent c8 error. But, this error is very easy to fix. I have several methods of fixing it without messing with the integrity of the setup!
If you use the L2+R2, it will pull up MAME options, with one option being INPUT. In there, you can select any INPUT, then rebind it directly to a button on your controller. When you click it, it will clear, then you simply hold down the button you want to take its place. It is identical to setting up a controller on PC
You must tape --retroarch --core nestopia in command line for every fds game. Cluster made a great job.Hey guys Im having trouble getting a Few Famicom disk games to switch sides like Halley Wars and Otocky. Most others do so does anyone know a fix? Thanks
Run as admin ... choose a language and set it in hakchi . try another usb port/cable some virus system apps monitor usb like a firewall does ports so can break things ....switch of firewall in windows 10 temporarily .. rename hakchi and see if it triggers firewall rules panelI have tried everything I can think of to get Save State Manager to work, to no avail. I only ever get a white screen with no saves displayed in it.
I've turned off anti-virus, I've tried compatibility mode - nothing works. I'm running Windows 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
