hi guys, I'm having problems loading Sega master system and SG 1000 games on portable final burn alpha, they show up on the list as green but don't load saying the file is missing even though it's in the zip file. What am I missing? I've put the files in the pfba/roms folder on the vita and they're from the latest romset as well.
Bios files?

I havnt tested SMS games myself, perhaps ensure that the ROMs are named as per http://files.mydedibox.fr/files/Dev/psp2/pfba/gamelist.txt

@cpasjuste I ported nec_armnec and hook driver which is from ezxfba(a motorola E680 homebrew written by oopsware) source to pfba, it run at 60FPS, but I think the driver is not implemented and it is too hard for me to improve the driver.
So my question is, will you add nec_armnec to pfba in the future?

I use PFBA for neogeo and some other arcades so cant give any useful info sorry. For megadrive/genesis and SMS I use retroarch vita or picodrive under adrenaline.

Thanks for the info, I will take a look someday. But the way FBA handle drivers has changed a lot so it may be hard. I'll let you know :)
 
Official FBA 0.2.97.40 version was released. I'm waiting to update to latest FBA in pFBA. (Supporting Taito F3 games, Namco System 1 games now)

Wait, PFBA lost that homebrew competition to a freaking Zelda fan game? That is so amazingly weak. If it's any consolation, I appreciate your work on this and the Amiga emulator, and I'm sure plenty of others do too.
I am very confused too,I don't kown how the Zelda game won the competition and who voted for it?

I did work on merging the new FBA release today. Unfortunately there is a (minor I guess) bug that make pfba to crash at start. This is probably just a problem with latest vita SDK but didn't had the time to look further. I'll fix that next week, stay tuned and don't forget to update your romset to latest mame romset as stated in FBA changelog :)

Hi, great work on pfba! I have a few suggestions/questions.

Requests:
  • More than 4 save states, maybe another row of 4 at least?
  • Option to automatically resume game from loading save state instead of going back to menu
  • Option to have touch screen shortcuts to menu or save states
Questions: Is it possible to have custom button shortcuts to get to the menu? Maybe through the config file? On the OLED vita it's annoying to have the press start and select together.

please dont forget Fatal fury 1 sound fix :)

When you boot the game the sound works ok but as soon as it starts the first round the sound cuts off and dosent come back. Also in "real bout fatal fury 2" no music or sounds on character select screen.

If I find anymore I will let you know :)
 
Hello everyone, I'm new in the forum, I want to thank cpasjuste for their great pfba emulator, I use it a lot in my vita.

I have some suggestions that cpasjuste can consider.

When I play games of cps1, cps2 and neo geo I access the dipswitches easily to modify difficulty and language, but it seems that when leaving the game and re-entering are not saved, it is possible to correct this.

It would be possible to add support for command list for fighting games like in psp emulators of NJ.

It would be possible to add cheats.

It is possible to optimize for full speed in Data East games like Joe and Mac Returns or Diet Go Go.

I join the request to configure buttons to launch the menu, which in fat vitas is very difficult.

They are only suggestions if you are interested cpasjuste and once again thanks for your work.
