Now i thini im sure it is capable for an android device to do that. I mean. I can download 20+GB of wii u files on my droid and i dont think it would be unable ti create a 1-32mb rom into a cia file
Would it be cool to have an ultimate vc injector go!

Can be done.. but.. the proces of transfering the file to your 3ds, would be so much simpler using the PC.

ES file exploer has a built in ftp feature that you can transfer your files to your 3ds
Yeah, i mean, it CAN be done, but also bandwith speed on phones, take several examples on why not to.

It surely can be done, and its pretty simple, but, why bother doing it? O: its a rare event when you are at "X" area and you are like, You know what, i need to convert this Virtual Console game right now using the phone and FTP it to my 3DS.

Your 3DS would need to use a Wifi connection can be an AD HOC, so, using a PC, its way simple.

Thats why i have not published my 3ds.guide for android.

exactly. Its too much of a fringe case, and with it, the question that gets imposed is "is this type of functionality even necessary or even wanted, and is there a big enough audience to warrant that?"

Not even the new 3ds does. It has a microsd slot
I'm talking about computers, not the 3DS.
But I have a N3DSXL and I just use the Micro SD Management on my computer.
Or if it's big files, I'll take the SD card out of my 3DS and use a USB SD card reader since my SD card ports stopped working.
Sometimes I'll use my phones Hotspot when I'm not home and use ES File Explorer and the FTPBrony CIA

Just a note here. First of all, requesting something to be made will nearly never make it come true. It is extremely rare for a program to be made just because somebody requested it. It's not because there are a lack of ideas for new projects, it's because there are a lack of devs to work on said projects. Second of all, multiple times a day people ask for android builds of every conceivable pc application, and simply put 1 in every 500 gets made. I wish that was an exaggeration but i can count the number of 3ds android applications on one hand.

I would like to chime in here. Why would you use Android to inject files instead of a PC? You know... Not everyone has a PC. That's why.

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

@SylverReZ, i think they have been doing that since late 2000s

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
