So I was setting up the internet connections again and disabling the Parental Control app and just when I was turning that off, the Switch has become completely locked or frozen. I've tried to turn it off on the top button, use the Home button, or any of the others but they don't work.

The refresh icon has also froze.

WTF!?

I've had it lock for me 2 times. one when my gf was in bed and fiddling around in the menues. and one time for myself.
both times it was handheld mode I think.

I'm using it on handheld mode too now. Nintendo really needs to get these issues fixed asap.

Mine twice. Once I got a black screen with white text saying "an error has occurred." Second time, Zelda just froze. Both times fixed with the 10 second press of the On/Off button.

Happened once to me. This type of freeze occurred in practically all my consoles for now, and the same solution worked for em all. Turn it off, turn it back on.

It happened to me once on the WiiU but to be honest, it was probably the fault of the game I was playing -- Sniper Elite V2. The WiiU port was bare-bones and mediocre at best with little optimisation.

Happened to me on PSP, PSVITA, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, DS, and a multitude of consoles from the previous generations. Technically happened on PS4 as well, but my PS4 restarted itself without me doing anything.

Despite it happening to me on so many different consoles, it's really rare in occurrence in general.

I was going to suggest the Spock button, but i guess you already used the Power button instead...

It was so random, I just saw the wifi connected when I booted Zelda and it froze. I mean it can be any reason why but that's what I saw.
It might been fixed in 2.1.0 but this was on 2.0.0.
