So, recently I had to reset my 3DS and uninstall the CFW and update to 11.3 to sell my 3DS, but the person I was going to sell it to backed out. Is it possible to still hack it? I still have the OTP and files like that.

Do you have a functional nand backup from when you did the ctrtransfer, like when you first followed the guide?
Since you still have your OTP you can install A9LH on 11.2 by running SafeA9LHinstaller via safehax

They updated to 11.3.

Lol, read more closely, I asked if they had a backup from when they did the ctrtransfer ON 11.2.

But you didn't tell them how to restore that 11.2 NAND backup if they did indeed update to 11.3 which is what I'm understanding from "uninstall the CFW and update to 11.3."

I don't want to give them a whole tutorial because they might not even have a nand backup. I was going to walk him/her through it once I clarified they have a nand backup.

Regardless if he did or didn't, its useless.
There's no kernel exploits as of yet, so no way to restore his NAND backup if he indeed had one.

DSiWareHax can still be injected and used to restore nand backups

No for a couple of reasons.
The NFIRM was patched by Nintendo on 11.3 which pretty much killed everything except the Homebrew Launcher and in order to perform a DSiWareHax in the first place, he would need to acquire one of the games needed to perform the hax, games that were pulled from Nintendo's eShop never to be seen again.

NFIRM DOWNGRADING was fixed in 11.3, nand backups/restores still work. You can inject Soduku and it's dsiware hacked save.

You can't transfer an injected dsiware though, can you?
Wasn't that how the original DSiware downgrade method worked? You injected the hacked savefile via CFW then transferred to the non-hacked console? Unless transferring hacked savefiles via system transfer was patched.

It did, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't work with injected games.

Where's your video proof?

So whatcha say now hm?
1. Buying DsiWare that has the correct size
2. Injecting Legends of Exidia
3. Injecting Save File
3. Transferring
4. Using DsiWareHax
(5. Downgrade NFIRM (Not possible on 11.3)
6. Downgrade
7. Install A9LH)
