BTW, anyone that has never tried the Genecyst emulator should run DOSBox and try it out. It was one of the best early Genesis emulators, and is still one of the best of all time.

Eh, it's decent, but Genesis Plus slaughters it in every way lol; for the time it was the king of Genesis emulators for quite a while though.:D Genecyst doesn't have cycle-accurate YM2612 emulation though :P

How do I add the PS1 games? I got SNES running but I dont know how to setup the PS1 emulator

No one's interested in PSX emulation unfortunately:unsure:

Yes that's unfortunate, given that the original Wii had the excellent WiiSX in spite of the weak hardware, so the Wii U could easily deliver much better experience than the original Wii.

I still believe it's not that hard though. We already have the CPS3 for example ported and runningfull speed. So there is no reason why PSX core should be that difficult.

Actually, its extremely difficult. Someone needs to make a dynarec for the wii u, for the core to run at playable speeds at all. According to trusted devs, its essentially as hard as making a full emulator for the console.
CPS3 works fine cause it doesn't need dynarec.

Very difficult, it needs dynamic recompilation, and no one is willing to make a port; to be honest, having the PSX core compiled at all is a waste of time and resources. They shouldn't bother including the core at all.

You're not getting the point. He's doing because it can be done, simply for the lulz. Accuracy does not matter.

*Deep regretful sigh* I'll shut up. Sorry. Now the PSX core on the other hand, that's just useless in the Wii U cores and is only included because. It should be removed from the codebase on GitHub.

How many times are you going to say that?? You have been posting the same shit for months about the psx core being included.

Plus Genecyst is still one of the coolest emulators ever made, and had a lot of great features for the time it was made.

Agreed, I remember being able to play Castlevania Bloodlines for the first time back in 1999, my brother's friend gave us a burned CD with a bunch of Genesis ROMs on it, I was blown away lol :P

Hi. Does anybody have a thumbnails pack for CPS1, 2, 3, Neogeo and Mame arcade games that they could share? Appreciated.

Hi. I'm trying to play with two friends using the gamepad and two wiimotes any bomberman with snes9x and snes9x2010 cores. I think that retroarch recognizes all 3 controllers but the rom only recognizes the gamepad and the first synced wiimote. Can someone help me?

Sorry if this was already answered, but how do you install the .rpx versions of Retroarch on Wii U? I like to have them as channels on the HOME menu and not use haxchi for them every time.

I am also wondering about this. Been searching but I can't find anything.

(cont... get the ball rolling; hope that people will chip in as well.)

The team was quick to mention that supporting them on Patreon is a great way to pad out the bounty wallet, and iirc you can contribute directly to bounties on Bountysource as well. Make of it what you will, I suppose.
