its a WIP currently , namely :

• There are currently no visual indicators as to which homebrew app is currently selected. I will fix this at a later point.

I couldn't remember the reason it wasn't on the appstore, thanks for answering this.

They likely stopped work on it, (for now at least) as only 5 or 6 people seem actively interested in the development of it.

Is anyone working on a frontend with support for game covers etc for Retroarch Wii U? It would make it really nice to use.

XMB theme is all we need, but its not featured on Wii U version yet.

Are you using 1.5.0 or 1.4.1? I'm using 1.4.1 and it's 100% stable, I can upload a link for download.

I don't see it ever happening, even though the 3DS port apparently has it, or so I heard. There's no technical reason not to have it yet.

I'm using v1.0.2, downloaded from the Wii U App Store. Damn that's outdated.
Time to upgrade. You might as well just give me a download link.

I don't know why you're using such an old version lol, anyways, this is from 2/5/17 while not "super up to date", I found it to be the most stable, as 1.5.0 kinda breaks Haxchi when used with CFW for whatever
reason. This however, will work fine on any setup.

Be sure you're using version 1.4 or 2.1 of the launcher, as it will not work with RPX apps without it

Thank you so much. Finally, some help around these forums. I've been asking for the Wii U Homebrew Channel to get Pro Controller support so we could select apps through that, but nobody is responding or helping.

Homebrew channel only has partial controller support, and it's not an official build as of yet. RetroArch however, should work perfectly, be sure to delete all config files before starting it up.

I want DOSBox so I can run Genecyst and run a Genesis Emulator inside another emulator.

BTW, anyone that has never tried the Genecyst emulator should run DOSBox and try it out. It was one of the best early Genesis emulators, and is still one of the best of all time.

It doesn't work right now. It's just a proof of concept.
