Would you be ok with sharing the source graphics you used to create these? I am looking at generating business card sized versions of these for my set and they are serviceable but I'd like to scale down the character art. Some of them particularly the Wind Waker Link have heavy cropping because of the format size. Below is an example of using these in a business card size format.

Well I ended up re-scaling the images to make them fit in a 2x3.5 format and they look better that way. A few of the characters look anorexic but it's better than the cropping.

Do you have any plans to do a Majoras Mask 30th card? The dump is out there for that one and the card drops items you can't get from other cards.

Was thinking of laminating also but wouldn't that damage the NFC stickers?

@Random11 please can you share your backgrounds?
I have read online that it does not hurt the sticker when laminating. I am deciding if I want to make a back of the card or just print the back of the card and place the sticker there. I am still working on my cards so I cannot say for 100% sure it will work yet. I am trying to get an android phone with NFC so I can write to the tags I have.

Also read laminating should be fine. Just wondering if buying a printer and printing directly onto nfc cards will work

If you are ok with stretching wait till I upload my credit card sized ones. They should be less stretched. As for majoras mask... I made a feirce deity card. That one is meant to be the majoras mask one. Check the original post. Look for "unreleased amiibo".

The mm amiibo does work in the game and gives you fierce deity armor, thus making it a feirce deity card. If official art for the package is released I'll upload a new design.

Lamination works fine. I already made a comment about that. I've tried 5 mil lamination and it doesn't affect the chip. As for printing onto the NFC cards. I'm buying a zebra printer once my cards arrive and will be posting all my designs converted to credit card size so you won't have to scale the images

That'll be really expensive won't it?

Lamination is cheap

If you are talking about the zebra printer, yes it's expensive.

You can buy inkjet printable cards too. But they are also expensive. Just a little less expensive I guess.

Yes zebra. How much you getting it for?

Any chance you'll share BG used for the 30th anniversary cards?

Might go the laminating route

I think the printer is like 1500$ Canadian. Plus 50$ in ink. 1 ink ribbon can print about 50 cards double sided from what I can tell.

Oh for some reason I was thinking that one was the TP link which has the same drop table as the SB Link. Duh.

I dont know how you could mistake Fierce Deity Link with anything that came from Twilight Princess? lol
anyway, I posted my "credit card" sized amiibo cards here. You should have better luck trying to fit them onto business cards without needing to stretch them as much.

Update on my project. I compared these with the new CC sized ones and the CC one definately scales better down to a business card size. Here's a comparison of the two, original on the left and cc on the right scaled down to business card size.

Thanks for these cards, they look great!

I've noticed that the BOTW cards seem to have the gold text a bit blurred when printed out though. I can see this in your Guardian picture as well. I've tried on a business grade laser printer also, but still getting blurred text. Any suggestions? I'm thinking possibly the paper is to blame as the ink might be seeping a bit further into the paper resulting in the blurred effect, but I'm using matte photo paper which I thought wouldn't be an issue...

I dont know what you are talking about. It's not blurry for me. It probably just your printer.

This is what I'm talking about:

The gold "Breath of the Wild" text is much less clear than what's in the actual image. This might just be nitpicking, but that's what I was referring to. I was wondering if there's any specific settings for these prints to sharpen that text. And again, I know this card was printed using a consumer printer (as you said), but I'm getting the same result on a business printer.

I dont see your issue. P1110768.JPG

If I have to start zooming in so much that I start to see the dots of ink before I notice any blur I would call that not a problem. We are only talking about 300 dpi here.

However, the BOTW card that you printed seems to be the one without the golden swoosh and the white background. In other words you are printing the first version of the BOTW cards I made. When I made the second version I used a higher quality logo. I still maintain that the differences after the images get scaled down are all but barely noticeable, but regardless I will re upload those first designs with the new logo. See if those work better.

Edit: I uploaded the files. See if you can see a difference.

I will edit this post once Ive done uploading them
Ok that image looks much better than what I'm currently getting! I'm using the PDF you uploaded earlier on, so maybe I am using an older version which lacks a bit of quality.

I'd appreciate it if you could upload those! Maybe it's better if I just take the images from the first page and make my own PDF...

I can re-upload the PDF with the change I just made to the logo. But that image I just showed you of my print was printed from the exact same PDF you have right now, not the new version.

I uploaded the new PDF. It has the slightly better quality logo for my original BOTW cards now. Here is the post about the pdf if people want the pdf and dont want to go searching for it.

FYI: The images in the OP will always be the most up to date versions of anything I make

Possible I'm just being nitpicky, as long as that's how it's meant to be I'm happy! Thanks for the re-upload!

I seem to be getting a much better quality print (at least for the text) with that PDF, thanks!!
