hello,

i have a o3ds on 11.2 with a9lh and luma installed. i want to remove a9lh so i can sell it.
What i have done so far was removing homebrew/games installed except fbi.
Can someone guide me how to achieve this without bricking the console and staying on 11.2?

Do you have your nand backup before doing the A9LH install?

yes i do have one backup from 4.5 and 9.2 but i want to stay on 11.2
Restore the one from 9.2, and perform a system update, using hourglass 9 do the restore nand option without keeping a9lh.

yes i told the one who wants to buy the 3ds its on 11.2
i dont think theres a chance to do this, if there is no 11.2 backup before installing a9lh.

If he wants 11.2 to install a9lg, why removing, thats the only good thing about 11.2, and gateway support, but apart form that, removign a9lg, does not do anything good, theres a patch you can use to hide luma and a9lh.

in decrypt9 there are 3 options to restore a SysNand backup, whats the difference with "keep a9lh" and without that notification?

i dont know what the buyer wants to do with the 3ds but he is willing to pay quiet high price for it and i dont want to ask if its because anything relatet to homebrew.

restoring sysnand keeping a9lh, well,, keeps a9lh installed.

The other one, removes the a9lg when restoring a nand. if you restore a 9.2 nand, not keping a9lh, well you will have a clean console as far as i know.

and what is if i make a nand backup on 11.2 and restore it without the "keep a9lh" option?
im dont think that how it works, since a9lh its already installed.

The thing is, the backup you had DONT HAVE a9lh, so you got the option to keep the a9lh when doing a sysnand restore, however, if the target sysnand has already a9lh, i dont think that does the job, the only was as far as i know, its to restore a NON A9LH sysnand back up.

Safe a9lh installer has a uninstall option. Why do people not know this already? Just make sur you don't have the arm9loaderhax.bin in the ctr nand first or else you'll brick the system without removing that first.

Yes. It's one of those no one notices until they need to uninstall a9lh and can't figure out how to with out a nand back up. But always remove the arm9loaderhax file from the ctr nand with FBI if it's in there or else you will brick

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

so i should copy the content from the latest release of safe a9lh installer (https://github.com/AuroraWright/SafeA9LHInstaller/releases) on my sd card an launch it with the homebrew launcher?
Yes. Or set it as your arm9loaderhax.bin in your sd card for instant booting

That just removes it from being the sd-less boot option. But if you don't remove it before uninstall, you'll brick your system to where a hard mod would be needed to flash a back up. So just delete it from ctr nand, set it as your preferred method, and then run it and uninstall and you'll be fine

Why go through so much trouble to remove A9LH and CFW, when instead you could sell it as a "homebrew-ready" 3DS for more? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
