So I bought a broken 3DS for $20 and figured I could fix it because I heard you just have to replace the Speakers or Camera, so I bought both. I put both of the new parts in but I still got a pop with a flash of the bottom screen. What else can cause this issue? Could I check the whats wrong with a multi meter? Would have bought a new 3DS but didn't have the money, just want to play Majora's mask lol.

Try re-seating the ribbon cables on the inside where the hinges are it seems that they may be faulty/torn, bottom left.
One of my 3DS had that issue, I only had to re-seat it, the previous owner was very rough with my system so it came loose. Let's hope that's just the case for you c:

You self repair your own systems? :)

Why wouldn't I? I build my own computers too xD
I dunno why you wouldn't, it just too me as surprise that you can. That is all. Though finding the tools to even open these things are dumb, why don't they just use common 4 knot screws like everything else? Instead we got hexagons and then triangles.... O_O

Did you check the board for blackened components? Pops typically come (in my experience) from something going wrong with power. Maybe the battery was damaged? Should be easy enough to check with a multi meter

All of you guys were wrong lol. There was a broken trace from water damage.
Oh well, I'm human I have the right to be wrong :-)
Will you be able to fix it? I would gladly do it for you, but the shipping cost would kill ya
I had 5 or 6 3ds with same problems, always ribbon cable, so I'm sorry for claiming itnwas the cable
