is jailbreaking even a thing on consoles? i thought that it was an ios thing

The term "jailbreak" is something completely different.
But yes, it's very often associated with the hacking of Apple devices.

I have seen zero interest, so that's probably why.

Not every finding has to be publicized.

But why hide Xbox One exploits? Unless it's pure piracy related it's sorta unheard of in the Xbox scene for anything to be hidden for long. It can't be the modern "scene" either, since PS4 has custom code execution shown and available. It strikes me that this time around there isn't any motivation for exploits - the only people who would care are pirates or COD kids. Then you have the very few people who would actually be interested in Linux or Windows support on the machine in which case, historically speaking, wouldn't go untold. If something does exist for Xbox One, I'm convinced it's going to be for profit. It has to be at this point.

Usually when it comes to Microsoft and Sony game consoles its always hardware hacks. Which is why people should not spend money on hacking them because most people will spend close to thousands of dollars to buy such hacks.

Edit: I know from experience

Baffles me as well.
But you know how people are, if they can make a profit off off it, they will.

Its just that there are nothing of interest in Xbox1

Ouch, roasty shot fired ;P

If you have nothing better to contribute then consider not posting.

^ this, yeah just lack of interest, and maybe only few people researching stuffs about xbox one.

remember xbox360 was also hack, but homebrews are just limited to game managers, cheats, and pc tools to hack the console
