I'm sorry if this isn't the right thread I'm new to this... but I was wondering if anyone had an idea as to how long it usually takes for someone to upload their game ticket to the freeshop? I want to play Story of seasons: Trio of towns but I don't have the $40 laying around to buy it

Probably the wrong place, but anywhere from minutes to never. You never know. The more popular ones tend to get uploaded sooner than most. It's been leaked on the iso site a day before release.

@TheCruel I noticed Yo-kai Watch: Fleshy Souls isn't on freeShop. Just wondering what's going on since you said Rabbids was the only one not on the cache. I checked the title key site and it's on there with the encTitleKey. Was it just missed in the update? Just curious.

I just checked some of the recent ones from the RSS feed and most of them from yesterday before Rabbids and all this week ones are missing. I stopped while checking the ones from last week. Wondering if it's related to the github outage or something else.

I checked and it seems like it wasn't just Rabbids, which was the last one, it was the last 3 titles that aren't in the cache. It has the rest from last week like Lego Force Awakens. If it doesn't, should refresh the cache, the github downtime could've prevented it from properly updating.

That seems to have fixed it. Refreshing the cache added more games. I guess I know how to troubleshoot it better next time.

Thanks for your help and all your work on this program and others. I get a kick out of playing scummVM on my 3DS.

for some odd reason my n3ds downloads very slow. i get a max of 350 kb/s (with my o3ds i used to get 700 kb/s), and i disconnected everything i could from the web, restarted the router and the 3ds. speed tests are fine on my PC.
a friend came over and hes got 1300 kb/s in the same location. the SD is new and genuine, class 10. i have no idea what can cause this, maybe someone can help?

Can I suggest an auto-turn off once all downloads are done, in case that's possible?
The PS3 has that feature and it's pretty cool when you want to leave stuff downloading over night and don't want to kill the battery once it's done.

Edit: My mistake, seems there's already an option like that, it's just I didn't fiddle enough with the app.

Absolutely nothing, you can open the Eshop without worrying. I downloaded several games from the eshop after I started using the FreeShop

This is incorrect. If you bought DLC for a title but also have "other" DLC installed, updating a title from Home Menu or Eshop will cause it to be deleted from the SD card.

I actually dont know about that because i have never done that, and i use the freeshop to update the games. If you OPEN the eshop while you have dlc downloaded from the freeshop you won't lose them

@Thunder Hawk is right, this can be easily tested with free eShop themes and free Mii Plaza games. If you obtained more themes through alternative ways (installing a Howling Themes .cia package) or downloaded the rest of Mii Plaza games from freeShop, you will lose all the illegal ones once you enter the eShop.

Pretty nice app.

But if the author wanted to protect it from getting DMCAed he really shouldn't have added in the "download a title db" feature. Kinda hard to argue it's not a tool for infringement when it can grab the database allowing downloads of unpaid stuff right there in the app. as it stands there's little chance of fighting the DMCA.

For some odd reason the other similar text based app hasn't been hit yet, and it also has an auto-updater that's even easier to use.

Freeshops downloader is more reliable though.

For some reason my DLC keeps getting deleted and i need to download it again and again from time to time, the dlc are Samurai Chronicles and Steambots

I wish free freeshop had all games... I really want Harvest Moon: Skytree Village, but it's not on Freeshop even after updating. Even the tik installer Cia doesn't have all the games. Even CIAAngel doesn't have the game either...
