We pronounce Japanese names right.. and we aren't snob enough to pronounciate every single english word like how they do it, and end up sounding super weird like the latinoamericans.
But that is not snob, that is the right thing to do, the same way you don't say aberrations like "haiga".

its a wii u game peeps meant for switch. TBH it only looks slightly better on switch although on the switch it doesnt drop to 10-12fps in hectic scenes or when it rains outside but still drops plenty below 30fps. great game so far

No, in Spanish, it makes you sound super dumb, and snob. At least my opinion, everytime I hear a latinoamerican talk perfect spanish and then say something in English, trying 100% to mimic the original pronounciation, it's correct, but it sounds weird, and snob. Very snob.

the video is nowhere "odd". it just shows what everybody should now: internal memory CAN be slow. it is not guaranteed that internal is always fast. in case of the wii U nintendo put the cheapest NAND possible into the console. that is why a SSD is way superior in access times. and USB2 on the wii U is somewhere at 25 MB/s which is OK for the most part. even if the internal NAND would be twice as fast it would not mean loading times cut in half. there is way more processing done than just loading files. that is why the video shows clearly one thing:
It does not even matter what you put on your external memory. go with the cheapest HDD you can find.

Yes, I agree with what you are saying. It is only odd in the fact that it goes against what many people conventionally would think. "That the internal memory would be faster" :)
More technically minded like yourself can see the video as normal!

Well, I suppose it is similar, but the other way around. In LA when you use Spanish pronunciation for an English word you sound kind of dumb, hence the example, as if you said "haiga habido" or something like that.

Even though the game was originally developed for the Wii U, it's way too demanding and ambitious for the hardware to handle (at times). Hell, even the Switch reportedly has framerate problems. That said, it IS totally playable and enjoyable on the Wii U. Nintendo usually finds a way to optimize their games no matter what, but I just feel that Zelda BOTW is a massive game that BEGS to be ran on more powerful hardware.

I agree, but sadly, some poor people like me, cannot afford the Switch for a year. And I won't stand a year without playing the game..

I don't know guys. Apart from the occasional framedrops (mostly in fights), the game is simply gorgeous! How is that looking lowres to you all? Celshading is on point, the game is smooth, and it's obviously very polished.

Very true, it is uncommon to hear Japanese terms and names pronounced right in English dubs. But I would prefer the Japanese version anyway, and I've heard good and bad dubs in LA and Iberic Spanish...
That said some times in Iberic Spanish dubs they have a tendency of saying thing like "ee-seh-berg" that kind of make me cringe TBH.

PS: the iceberg example refering to some opening that I watched in some OVA perhaps of DBZ some 20 years ago, but things like that are common occurrences.
The Spanish (at least from Spain) say WiFi as "Wee-fee" which can be pretty funny.

I'm glad to hear that from an established member. You put my mind at ease. :)

No, it isn't.
It is a native Wii U title that also received a hasty port to another system once the original system began failing.
This game was intended for and developed for the Wii U.
It wasn't done well, but that was the intent of it.
Neither version is polished or particularly refined because they suddenly had to develop for two systems at once, which meant that attentions and priorities were divided, which explains why both versions look worse than all official pictures and videos and also why they have performance issues.

Clearly the Switch version is superior.

Yeah, sure. It probably is, but if you find your dog had shit on your carpet TWICE while you were at work, you don't really care that one is smaller than the other.
It is still shit, your carpet is ruined and the whole room stinks.

You're just being overly pessimistic. Nintendo figured out at the time that it would be a waste to keep it as a WiiU exclusive and ported to the NS.
