Gaming Zelda BOTW - Low-res textures?

I tried out Breath of the Wild on the Wii U now and something seems really off about it.
The textures are extremely blurry and the Aliasing is horrible.
What is going on here?

I just think that maybe this really isn't a version intended for final release, because the framerate is also not that great.

The Wii U has a lot of games that sure look a lot nicer than this.
This looks like an upscaled Wii Game and not even a very pretty one.

I think the game has a mandatory install for HD textures.
The game has some 2.2 gb update i found online.
Id share the link but its technically not allowed.
Its possible its the HD textures.
Ad the game requires them to be installed to the System internal memory because fd streaming from the disc issues.
How are you running the game?
Legit Disc, Lodiine or WUP installer.

And did you install the Update to the System memory?
Apparently it has to be system memory not USB.

It's not a system update. It is an update for the game and it works fine no matter where you install it.

That's why nintendo released it on wii u too, just to show switch version is better.

I know its not a system update im just saying some people mentioned that the games 2.2 Gb update has to be installed to the nand to take effect and fix the bad textures.

maybe the texture was something with the art of the game... i remember when i played skyward sword for the first time...i also find the background blury and washed, i was thinking it might be a issue... but its was the game itself
about the framerate... i'm downloading right now and will test it.... maybe a hdd related issue?
i was seeing a livestream from wiiu version and seems pretty ok to me

Did you not notice that the textures of the ground a few feet away from you are just really low-res?
This game looks like the ultra-low settings hack of witcher 3.

its ugly indeed.... but from a camera we dont have the real sensation.... soon the download finish i will install and see by myself

also... i just remember... you can take screenshots from wiiu and post them in imgur for example
