Boy I hope no one's been banned yet for playing a game early.

The game would work on a US Wii U so long as I have the sigpatcher, right?

Alright so, I installed Haxchi, then CBHC.
I've then set up the autoboot to System Menu
Accessed the web browser to run WUP Installer, and install the European Game

Now, I don't know if there's actually a way to know if I'm running a CFW or if it's the regular SysNand. I don't want to run the game without making sure I'm region free.

How would I know for sure?

well you should boot once to Main System and make a Folder :P Then you know if you in Emu or not. But if you saw the Mocha on the Handhelt you are mostly in Rednand

People, stop asking links, even on PM, all that you need is on the iso site of wiiu (page 28) and on the title site of wiiu

CBHC always starts with all patches unless you specifically hold button combinations on startup, just set it to autoboot system menu and thats all you need.

So I can install the update in a US console?

I installed Haxchi & CBHC and then installed the european game on my NA console. I'm going to install the update in a minute and see if it works.

It takes 10 minutes top to set it up and there are plenty of tutorials on youtube

@SylverReZ, 1) I never entered 4chan 2) I have good memories with my PS2 even though most of the games i had were scratched beyond being bootable

@K3Nv2, Not gonna lie, about half of its game library was shovelware like its counterpart, the Wii.

@SylverReZ, and the other half were just 1st party games

@Xdqwerty, The Wii U was essentially an early Switch, before the Switch was a thing.

I think my favorite PS1 enhancement is sub pixel precision, helps get rid of some of those wobbly polygons lol

@Psionic Roshambo, By default, the polygons are filtered with differing to simulate depth, which doesn't make them clearer.

There are ways to disable this by creating cheat codes, but this requires knowledge of the PS1 hardware.

Biliniar filters are OK but brz is better I like SuperEagle but out of all of them xbrz is probably the most computationaly expensive

Emulation is the way to go for so many reasons NES get rid of flicker by turning off the sprite per line limit. Cheats? Ken Batocera is your friend almost every console has cheats in it
