Someone has claimed to taken apart a switch. Looks neat. and tiny.

Apparently it's considered a leak coming from foxconn, the manufacturer in china.

  • Date code is "1629" in addition to the A2 designation.
  • This means 2016 Week 29 which is around July 2016.
  • UDNX02-A2 is another code printed.
    • This seems to confirm that this IS a custom chip for Nintendo. Considering the Switch was codenamed Nintendo NX during its development.

looks legit, interesting that the emmc seems to be on a swapable pcb

depending on how the fw is stored and assuming there is no anti downgrade tools it could be really easy to make a product to backup your initial fw to keep safe incase it ever end up "useful"

Sure.. You believe it so quicky ? I don't know if it is real or not. I don't trust in Chinese people like this. Sorry but thanks for sharing, thought.
*shrugs* it's a very elaborate hoax if so. Everything about it looks genuine, and nothing seems out of place or incorrect. I obviously don't know for certain, but it would be a really odd hoax if it is one.
