Hacking Did I Screw this up bad?

So i'm in the process of installing a9lh on my n3ds (11.0) and I've followed the instructions fairly well. I got to the CTR stuff and am currently on 2.1.0, but I rechecked in settings being the paranoid guy I am. When my n3ds booted back up, the screen was all discoloured. I could see everything like the settings app and such, but the top screen was going between green and purple and just looked generally jacked. I took the battery out as I've heard that's a good way to shut off the system in 2.1.0, but now I'm scared to even turn it back on. I have a NAND backup, but i dont know what to do.

It's normal. new 3ds was never designed to run that firmware so visual glitches occur.

The only thing to watch out for is putting it to sleep, which will brick it. Just follow the guide exactly.

I believe the guide actually mentions that it is normal on some attempts for there to be color issues.
