It could be a bios issue, is it in the right place? Be sure it's in sd:\retroarch\cores\system\syscard3.pce, if so, download it again, could be corrupted.

But that's the weird part, older builds ran Rondo of Blood flawlessly, but it's been months; *sigh* I don't know what else to do. I'll try again, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

BIN or CUE files?

Yeah, again, Rondo of Blood worked fine, I can try another BIOS file, maybe the latest nightly, ugh. I hate having to hard boot the console every time it locks up, curse Nintendo for not putting a reset button.
Yeah a reset button would be great... Do you have only Rondo of Blood? You could download another game, for testing...

Load Haxchi, hold B to get CFW/libfat, then HBL, other cores work just fine. The TG/CD cores actually load fine too, it's just when I load a CUE file, the emulator locks up, and it's starting to piss me off.
What about Sega CD games, have you checked?

Edit: Why don't you install CBHC then the retroarch channel, to make things faster?

Because I don't trust CBHC/coldboot when Haxchi does everything CBHC does *shrug*. No, but I will try Sega CD. It's fine the way it is, Haxchi has no known impact regarding certain cores.

Did you try not loading CFW/libfat?

No, I haven't, but that better not be the issue, if it is, Snes9x on my end is gonna be fun >.> It's the only core that takes forever to load the ROM directory. I don't know why faster libfat speeds would impact an ISO image.

Does anyone know how to input a "null" controller entry when mapping/defining game controllers? I'd like to disable the Turbo buttons in a few cores but can't figure it out.

So does anyone have any feedback on the keyboard support? Is it working ok for everyone? Anyone have a chance to test a nightly with it? I've been busy working on making a new app, so haven't been able to try any of the other cores yet.

There's still people running just base Haxchi? Don't be afraid of CBHC, if Haxchi is already working for you, CBHC will not brick your system. All the CBHC bricks are because people skipped the base Haxchi install as a test - it's a lot easier to come back from a screwed up Haxchi install than it is CBHC.

If you know Haxchi works on your system, CBHC works too.

I read a lot before installing CBHC, there's no problem if you follow the instructions. CBHC is just great!
