So I downloaded this because I needed it to randomize(Pokémon sun) it and every time I go to launch Pokémon sun I press select and launch with Hans. I downloaded everything, I hope, I need to use hans and even put it in the the Gridlauncher/folders/ and when I load it it just stays on a *debug screen thing. I did all the stuff according to this guide I am thinking that maybe gridlauncher has something to do with it, and I tried deleting it and it kept coming back. I there a way to delete it or a way to load the game?

Ok so we have a few problems here. First of all, you need smea's new boot.3dsx from the starter kit plus the new version of hans to run pokemon sun. Secondly, you shouldnt be using hans or that kid's guide. If you get a custom firmware, you can use saltysd, which saves space by letting you only copy tje new files to the sd card. It also is waaaay more convinient than hans, as hans doesnt have the best compatibility. To install a cfw, follow this guide here: 3ds.guide. It is extremely thorough and easy to understand. If you have any questions you can asl here. Just please, do not use a video tutorial to install a cfw as they become outdated super quickly. After you install a cfw, I can teach you how to use saltysd and randmonize sun and moon.

Try booting the 3ds with an sd card that only has arm9loaderhax.bin on it. Kind of sounds like your homemenu files could be screwing something up. Although your description sounds a little stranger than usual.

So just like a completely different sd card with just a single file on there?

Is there a way to just reverse all of this? I'm spooked because my 3Ds is strobing different colors when I boot and continues through wherever I go I to
Did you try booting your 3ds with just arm9loaderhax.bin on it?

Strobing colors are a strange problem, and if doing what I suggest doesn't solve it - it's probably a hardware issue. So just do that and report back.

(Are you still on 2.1 btw?)

Is this supposed to happen?

2.1.0-4U and by installed do you mean put in the sd card? New 3ds Xl

Easy, if you have arm9loaderhax installed put the sd card INSIDE the console then power it on WHILE HOLDING DOWN THE SELECT BUTTON. If you see luma's menu you have arm9loaderhax installed. If nothing happens then you have not installed it and screwed up in one of the steps.

Luma can't boot 2.1. You have to use Decrypt9 as an ARM9 payload to perform a ctrtransfer to 9.2. Finish reading the guide. It covers this. Also, never put your 3DS in sleep mode while on 2.1. This will permanently brick it.
